For all of you Ashoka fans, where is her story? Is it in books or animated shows? Never heard of her but I also never did any of the Star Wars extended stuff.

Literally the first evil one you see with a red saber in the trailer is a woman. The blond who murders the bridge crew.

The sabers of those two looked more orangish than anything. Maybe dark Jedi. The last one with the two edged weapon was def all red. Looked like an inquisitor blade.

Clone Wars. Start with the Clone Wars movie. She's annoying af in season 1 but gets much much better after. Kathleen Kennedy and her feminist writers could never in a million years write any female character as well as Ahsoka in the Clone Wars. I don't think they come anywhere close to maintaining the character quality.

Animation
Clone Wars
Rebels

Here is an IMDB list of the must watch episodes. It ends with Mando season 2, so I would add Book of Boba Fett as well

Maul was one of the best Characters in the SW universe yet outside of a cringe cameo in Solo they won’t put him in shite.

Basically like the Obi Wan trailer. They really know how to pump you up, but usually fall flat on the execution.

Maul was a key person in Clone Wars and Rebels. He was the damn leader of Mandalore for a time.

You should be grateful he was brought back to the animation, as he was originally a throwaway character.

As far as non-animated, give it time. His story was fully done in animation though

People are analyzing the ear shapes and are pretty confident that the rumored casting of Lars Mikkelson as Thrawn is true.

That's his Rebels VO, yes?

I'm only halfway thru S2.

She was introduced in The Clone Wars animated and was also in the Rebels animated series. Her character arc is pretty amazing over Clone Wars and Rebels.

After the original movie trilogy, the best Star Wars imo is:

-Thrawn book trilogy by Timothy Zahn (even though it's not canon anymore; this is what the movie trilogy post RotJ should have been)
-Rebels series by Filoni
-Clone Wars series by Filoni

It's very interesting that in the trailer, Ahsoka said the phrase "Heir to the Empire" as that is the name of the first book of the Thrawn trilogy.

Yup.

S2 finale is up there with Clone Wars finale for me.

Hoping Maul gets a live action series. His story arc, including his redemption arc are great.

Thinking rogue Jedi that had already left the Order prior to order 66.

Absolutely. We also learn so much more about Anakin, and Ahsoka’s story provides more insight as to why Anakin became so disillusioned with the Jedi.

It’s not a girl power thing. That’s just the makeup of the team after the events of Rebels. They will find Ezra and I assume Zeb will also be a part of the team.
