He already did, I can't remember which one but it was a great performance.
He is definitely from Carencro. One of our employees went to high school with him and knows him personally.

If Ray sticks around he needs to slow it down. Follow Cole's lead and take an older slow country song and change it up a little.
It would be risky, but maybe something like "You Were Always On My Mind." It might suck... or it might be fantastic.

Somebody posted this girl covering the same song on X-Factor this year. I don't watch the show, but she did an amazing job covering it also. Here is the video:

Far and away my least favorite Cole performance this season, just not a fan of the song again chosen by Blake. Not a fan of Caroline, but her performance last night was my favorite by her this season but not of the night. Liked the second half of James' performance, first half was pretty average, got to be held to a high standard on STL if you are going to sing it. Matthew bombed IMO, worst performance by him this season. Will, I was again impressed with. Tessanne's wardrobe was so bad I had a hard time taking her serious. Ray was aight, but not great. Jacquie, if that girl had another 2-years or so of experience would be smoking the other contestants.

The rest. The overall show just didn't catch my attention as in prior weeks, I think Xtina is dragging me down having to listen to her vacuous, drawn out commentary after every performance. Cee Lo could have taken a nap as little as he was referenced.

He needs to do another one...that's the style that fits him the best. Maybe some sort of Jamie N Commons song (though that might be better suited for someone like Cole).

I could see Cole MURDERING some shite like that...especially Lead Me Home. And if Ray needs to slow it down some (which I agree), he could do The Preacher pretty well I think.
I've never heard of Jamie N Commons before this last Eminem album came out, but I dig him...his voice sounds really cool. And it's crazy that he's from England, because you can't really tell in his songs at all.

Same here. I can watch the performances show in about 45 minutes. Skip all the group numbers, skip bad performances, skip all the roundtable champagne sipping with the World's Sexiest Man (really, wouldn't the world's sexiest man drink bourbon?), and skip Christina any time she's on the screen.

We actually watched about 30 seconds of Robin Thicke last night. I was fast forwarding and my wife asked who that was, so I stopped and let her listen for a bit. She thought he was much younger.

Last night is one of the first times I've watched the show start to finish live. I just had it on in my room as I was going through my closet. But I kept thinking over and over about how miserable it was because I kept wanting to FFWD through everything but I couldn't.
I usually FFWD and watch the performances, and then the coaches giving their opinions/advice immediately after (unless that sucks/drags on, then I FFWD that too). You can watch a show in under an hour that way. I couldn't give less of a frick about group performances or other famous singers' performances.
And the best thing about results shows is that I can FFWD till about 5 minutes left and see who's staying/going home. I don't even need to see the first 55 minutes of the show at all.
