Those hit too close to home?

It’s a movie you can take your kids and not worry about language or anything. No really hilarious moments, but solid laughs throughout.

We went today. My 7 year old saw the trailer and thought the girls putting makeup on Dad was hilarious and begged us to go. So we went to a noon show.

It was a straight out of the 90s family comedy. It was also just a bunch of Nate’s bit from his standup in movie format.

And if you are familiar with Nate’s standup, you know he is very deprecating towards himself being a moron.

Anyways, it’s worth a few chuckles. It’s harmless. It’s also ridiculous how dumb Nate is as a Dad, but that’s the bit.

The bit about the number of towels girls use, as a father of all girls, hit home pretty good.

Just saw it. Loved it. The trailers don’t do it justice. It’s a great wholesome family comedy. If you are a fan of Nate, you will like it. The child actors were good and the cast all around was great.

Nate did an excellent job, especially in his first lead role in a big movie.

Go see this movie. Theater wasn’t even half full. Hopefully it will pick up steam.

This movie bombed. Finished in 4th place with 2.8m on opening night.

Won’t even make 10m opening weekend. Nate said they spent 40m which means they need to make 100 to make its money back

I wholeheartedly agree! I've never been able to have my whole family of five pay an equal amount of attention to the same movie in theater.

This was a classic fun movie.

I’d love to see the mid/big budget comedy make a comeback, but why the hell is this movie costing 40 mil to produce? unless that includes marketing that’s kind of insane

Nate is weird to me.

I enjoy his stand up. We saw him in Lafayette a few months ago and I pissed myself laughing for an hour.

But when he’s on TV acting, he misses the mark.

i agree. I LOVE Nate but he is so awkward and tight when hes a host like the Golden Globes and most podcasts.

He was on Theo last week and they go back 20 years and its the most relaxed ive seen him. He told Theo that the studio had other ideas lined up if this does well. Not sure about it now

He's also building a theme park named Nate land thats gonna cost him 400m. I hope that works out for him

From what I've seen, the production budget was $25 mil, so the $40MM likely includes advertising and everything.

think that is ultimately the opposite of the message that results at the end.

Anyone who’s watched Nate’s comedy knows this is who he is in real life. He is a bit of a buffoon.

Saw it last night with the family. My wife and I laughed way more than I expected us to. The kids didn't care for it too much.

He's putting out a special almost every year. And he has his own game show. And he's doing movies. And he's building a theme park. And doing huge arena tours. How the hell does he do all of this? Kudos to him for striking while the iron is hot.

It's a great time to be alive for fans of standup comedy.

the movie needs to make approximately $62 million worldwide to break even and turn a profit.

The way some of you make up numbers you'd think Hollywood would have shut down decades ago because they would never make a profit on 95% of movies in hollywood with yall numbers

No one makes up numbers.
Anyway, I saw it tonight, it was alright, family really enjoyed, they weren’t familiar with his standup.

A roof on a house is not cheap.

I like the movie. Basically wife goes away for a few weeks and the house and household falls apart without her.
