MTV: Sex in the 90s

I don't know why, but this series popped into my head this morning. It covered love and sex in the 90s, featuring everyday people as well as celebrities.
My favorite was the episode that covered "What Men Want."
If featured two ends of the male spectrum:
In one corner you have Bob and Rich; the Dog Brothers. Two cocksure walking hardon mooks whose entire persona is based on getting laid.
In the other, you have the hapless nice guy Manny. He complains about women being attracted to knuckleheads, and blames them for not seeing how nice of a guy he is. The precursor to the modern incel.
Guest appearances by a young Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, Hugh Heffner, and a some random New York cab driver.
Part One
Part Two
Part Three

Dog Brothers were awesome.

The Dog Brothers were always what I thought adult dating was like as a junior high age kid.

The one brother claiming to be the drummer for Bon Jovi to get laid always cracked me up.

His hair burning using the curling iron.

I remember one of them emptied an entire bottle of cologne on himself before they went out. And he brought a backup outfit just in case someone else in the club was wearing the same thing as him. Crazy the stuff that sticks in your head.

I remember this episode as well, didn’t they take Manny under their wing for a night?

This just reminded me of "undressed" which used to be a favorite of mine on MTV.

I remember the episode with the kid in the UConn marching band.

Ah yes, the episode that was all about the two extremes of males on the dating scene.
I remember watching it and thinking, "Man, I am going to hate dating if I have to be like any of these fricking people."

Weren't they rolling around in a van?

It displays two ends of the spectrum. The Dog Brothers couldn't get past their caveman DNA and the need to get laid. Manny represents those in nature that do not get to reproduce
