I read the book but haven’t watched the movie. The book was bleak so I can only imagine the movie.

it is not a bad movie - i even said it was good, but in the realm of movies i would want to watch again it is near the bottom.

all these Forrest Gump votes have me stumped, i thought it was universally considered one of those movies that if it was on when you are swapping through channels you end up sitting through the whole thing even though you've already seen it 20 times.

I'm gonna add one that I don't see listed
