My sons LOVED this, though it was funny watching them be uncomfortable for a while with the jokes. Like they'd been told they are not supposed to laugh at that kind of stuff, but it was too funny not to.

Not true in my experience.

War Games.

They didn't understand why he had to put his phone on that funny devise next to his antique computer. Never mind trying to explain how he was just calling random numbers with his computer set-up. Oh, and pay phones?

Once the "shock" of the racial jokes settle and they realize its ok to laugh at politically incorrect I would imagine many will lie it.

Once they realize it's actually making fun of white people, that's when they can enjoy it

Like the Rankin-Bass stuff?

I don't even understand this. When did you show it to them, because that was a staple every year form the time they would watch the screen. Hell, I'm 51 and if I don't get to see Santa Claus is Comin' to Town with Heat Miser and Cold Miser each Christmas season, I'm an unhappy guy.

original Tremors

One of my all time favorites. I can quote it damn near start to finish.

I had it on a while back at the house and the wife and kids (14 and 19) weren't interested and thought it was kinda stupid. Meanwhile I was on the couch cracking the frick up and reliving my childhood.

Not sure I know what you're asking. My kid and my nieces just could not sit through any of them. I still watch them every year.

Had my teen nephews over to watch Smokey and the Bandit. They didn't get it, weren't impressed and rarely laughed.

On the other hand, I had told my college age daughter all the jokes in Hollywood Knights, and at her request we watched it, she thought it was hilarious.

Of course, I conveniently left the room to go to the bathroom when I knew the Robert Wuhl/Newbomb and Fran Drescher scene in the back of the Pie Wagon was coming on...

Rudolph! Always Rudolph. I have to watch the original Rudolph every year. My kids have thought it was lame for the last 30 years. But you know, I watched it the first year it was on TV when I was 3.

I just made my kids watch it last weekend with me. They loved it. They immediately wanted to watch the 2nd one when I told them it exists, but we haven’t yet.
