I don't have a single friend who likes Club Dread. And a lot of them love the Broken Lizard comedies. I think I'm the only person that likes that movie and owns it.

I will say that Aliens is vastly overrated IMO. Worst of the series? Nah.

Cronenberg doesn't get enough play anywhere. I'm sure people love his movies on this board, but most think they are weird. I stopped telling people to watch them.
Videodrome is a Top 20 all-time for me, and that's another that many don't watch.

Broken Lizard has the Star Trek Curse: The odd movies suck. Although, Club Dread wasn't horrible, its tough to follow up Super Troopers. I loved Beerfest. The Slammon Salmon was awful. Just horrible. Puddle Crushers (the first one) was not funny.
I like Dude, Wheres My Car? and Evolution. Not too many on board with those two.

The problem with Bruno is that the first few segments are so extreme that many people can't stomach it and turn it off. The second half of the movie is brilliant. Just to see the looks on those rednecks' faces after the cage fight is priceless

As a woman - Let me just say that sex scene made me uncomfortable. Not like MENTALLY uncomfortable... but PHYSICALLY uncomfortable. Poor Maria Bello had to be bruised as hell after filming that for however long it took.

Because the first one is the best and I love the third one. I guess I could swap 2 and 3, but I really like the third one. Aliens was more about shooting and blowing shite up and had like hundreds of xenopmorphs running around. I like it better when there's just one.
And that's not to say that I don't think Aliens is awesome, because I very much do. I just like the other two more for the most part.

BTW, I didn't say the series. I said the trilogy.
Aliens is better than Resurrection and the AVP movies, fasho. But I've enjoyed all of the Alien movies (including the AVPs).
