I Am Number Four

Watched this with my 14 year-old daughter back in 2011; we both enjoyed the heck out of it. Great popcorn flick, a lot of fun.

Apparently, the film received generally negative reviews, but was a box-office money-maker, grossing $149.9 million against a budget of $50-59 million. But plans for a sequel were cancelled .

The Judd Nelson movie Making The Grade teased a sequel in the credits that was never made. It's a decent flick.

Has to be Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1............talk about not killing it at the box office. WTF is Netflix going to do with that.

Dungeons and Dragons.

hell yeah! it still should get a sequel!

During a spotlight panel at ACE Superhero Comic Con 2024, Pine was asked if he would be willing to reprise his role as Edgin Darvis.

“Yeah, absolutely,” Pine answered without hesitation. “Again, this is inside baseball. The film did fine, but it didn’t do fine enough. That was the breaks in our business. For these films to do well, you have to make a billion, which is a lot. [embed]I think there’s a really good chance that we’ll make another one,[/embed] because I think Hasbro owns the rights to it. I think there’s a good chance, and if they could figure out a financial way to make it work, I think they’ll do it.”

this is also a movie I could see having a stronger box office for the sequel because of the streaming reception to the first one

Great movie. It's been awhile, but why did it merit a sequel?

The movie ended with them being washed ashore only to see there’s a volcano erupting and hearing a giant monster walking towards them and seeing the trees breaking as it approaches.
