Voss is the G.O.A.T
I started watching his videos back around maybe Avengers Civil War. Dude is awesome.
He used to annoy me with his over the top nerd shite but he is actually funny. He also has Hollywood and TV experience so he can really break down themes and symbolism really well and can paint a great picture of what a scene is actually showing you.
The von Doom thing from earlier is fascinating. I would love that. It is just in time too for a possible Mr. Fantastic entrance in Multiverse of Madness. We shall see.
Episode was trippy as hell. I was distracted the whole time like "oh shite oh shite the Pharaoh that betrayed Ammit is Ruma Tut"
aka Kang. I got my hopes up but who cares, still a great episode. I can not wait for next week. It feels like the wait for the last episode of Loki for me.

Is the third guy in the other sarcophagus dangerous?
Yeah, Jake Locksley is the most violent and dangerous of the three personalities. Useful but has to be contained (kind of like a Hulk/Banner relationship)

Also wtf was the zombie Anubis priest thing disemboweling people?
Tomb guardians. A living booby trap to prevent grave robbers (and anyone who might stumble upon/seek Ammit)

maybe the goddess at the end is there to help?
I googled Egyptian hippo goddess and most references to Taweret are as a fertility goddess and protector of mother and children. However, I did see some references about her and rebirth.
quote:
As a goddess of childbirth, Taweret was also revered as a protector of sun at its rising and she played a role in the rebirth of the dead.

I'm not a comic reader but based on that I'd say she'll play a role in bringing them back to life.

So was Jake Locksley the “partner” that killed Mark’s wife’s father?

Not if it follows the comics. Moon Knight's first villain, Raoul Bushman, is his partner that murders both Marc and the client.

Feels like the end of this last episode went full on "Legion" style
At least there's only a few more episodes because I tried and tried with Legion and had to give up bc it was too frustrating to watch

You should try again, but this time just let go of assuming everything should make sense. The thread we had going here when the show was live was all of us saying "I don't know what is going on but I like it anyway." Legion might be some of the best TV made in the past decade.

Emergency Awesome is a really watch for all things Marvel. I found him back during Loki to get background comic book info. Check out his videos on YouTube. Here is the episode 4 of Moonknight
Moonknight Episode 4 breakdown
Back when GoT was going big, I always looked on Emergency Awesome as a solid but somewhat assembly line / cookie cutter recap show. That guy does tons of episodes from tons of shows and cranks them out quickly. He must have a huge backup operation to gather info for him. Back then I prefered some of the smaller recaps with more personality- Smoke Screen and the like. But it is good to know that Emergency Awesome is out there to give a little background on almost any fantasy/sci fi type show.

I really should have finished bc I made it until the last season and that thread helped tremendously

The Youtube breakdown vids are definitely helpful for this particular show. The complexity of the multiple personalities for the main character, plus the introduction of a new pantheon of gods plus the fact that I've never read very many comics with MoonKnight (outside of a few guest appearces here and there way back in the day) make it almost a necessity.

The amount of Egyptian mythology in this show is impressive and I really like it. Very different backdrop from most Marvel

It reminded me of Legion, but it also reminded me of the nuthouse episode of Community. The way they packed so many show referenced into the mental institution was pretty incredible.
