This is so dumb. They are going to pay a lot for a big name star despite the fact that she won't actually be on the screen, they will alter her voice so it won't even sound like her, and her voice isn't even that unique or compelling to being with all to piss on the Christian elements of the movie. Make your own fantasy movie or pick another book.

Production problems, budget overruns, release date pushed back, Netflix already fired every executive who had a part of green lighting this thing…

Lions are a very clear example sexual dimorphism in appearance where males and females look different in a very apparent way.
This to me is a HUGE version of making a female a male or vice versa with a major example that the two sexes are COMPLETELY different. If they can do it with a clearly male lion with a mane, they can do it for anything.
Just my take. But who cares what I think
