Why did she give Gravik the DNA anyway ? Couldn't she have just rolled up as a super duper skrull and just kill him?

I can't believe how bad this show was. So many things made no sense.
Millions of Skrulls among us, and not one of them gets killed by accident where humans can see them turn into an alien after death? Not a single drive-by or car accident?
And suddenly every hero's power is in their DNA? Even if that's so, why does Gravik's Ebony Maw arm in the final battle have the rings he wore in Infinity War? How's that work? Just stupid.
This show was just bad, bad, bad. Who on earth thought it would be a good idea to have the coolest character in the MCU fall in love with a hideous green alien with fangs? Just absurd. Can't believe Feige let people see this.

The finale is currently the lowest-rated MCU episode ever

The more I think about this show the less I like it.
Yesterday I had it above Ms Marvel and She-Hulk, now I think I would rank it even below Ms Marvel.

Don’t understand what killing Gravik does other than having a girl kill guy for women power.
The simple answer here is Marvel kills off their villains during their first appearance 99% of the time.

The first couple episodes were okay but the show became genuinely bad at the end and the finale was just terrible

I was actually really liking this show until this last episode. It was just dumb and made no sense. I just dont understand the thought process of the writers and the direction this show went with that finale.

Yep, this one was weak. Lazy writing and effort

I totally agree with you, the show was surprisingly good until they capped it off with that lame duck finale, just a terrible crap of an ending.Smh

Emile Clark mailed it in. The SFX mailed it in. The writers fumbled.
And another Marvel show with “the men made the mistakes, we will be so much better…/X-Women” nonsense. These characters they are doing it with aren’t even popular comic book characters.
You have Chloe Bennett out there and an established Daisy Johnson. You kill off Maria unceremoniously. You could’ve had Nick call more on his SWORD agents.
The President should’ve died.

This is what I’m curious about. Apparently Rhodey will be prominent in Armor Wars I’m guessing we will get the whole story then.
Prominent? It’s a film that he’s the lead character.
I actually think Rhodes “goes dark” and puts him at odds with Sam in Civil War.
Sam and Rhodey are linked pretty closely. Military guys too.
It would be cool for Rhodey have Sam salute him.

The last fight scene was really weak

It made no sense for G’iah to be in her human skin in the last battle. Kind of weird for Gravik to be in Skrull form, but for her to not be in Skrull form.
Maybe I missed something though if you are a shape shifter why do you even have a native form at all. Is it draijing or something to be one form or another?
They make the comment that they want to be in their own skin. Why is your “own skin” really that much different than any form? Is there info in the comics on this?

Actually it probably will make for a pretty good series
Lowest rated Marvel series ever. And that’s saying a lot… I mean, worse than She-Hulk (which some people on here actually watched all the way through

They’ve just damaged the brand by half assing these. This had promise, maybe it should have been the lead in to a real secret invasion movie, instead just ends with a total dud because of obvious budget limitations
This series could have ended quickly big common sense were applied “Hey uhh Danvers, can you get your arse down here real quick. That alien race WE abandoned on this planet are about to cause an extinction level event, just need you to take 5 minutes and kill this Gravik guy.”

It's personal! That's why fury didn't get any help lol
Goddammit what a trash series, and it pisses me off because for every one really good scene and acting from a lot of the characters, there are 5 shite scenes.
Finale was one of the worst episodes of TV I've ever seen. Like Nick fricking Fury is walking into a highly irradiated area to die intentionally? Such shite
Posted on 7/28/23 at 8:18 pm to whatiknowsofar
It’s just crazy too because between this and Obi Wan you probably could have made really good movies out of with a full budget behind them
Instead you have these half assed series for the sake of streaming content that only piss off a fan base that is starting to lose interest
The MCU needs a hard reset but they won’t admit their error
