I think Erin's friend wanted them destroyed because there was things in there about her (she probably was part of that sex for hire website?). I really thought they were going to show Dylan as some kind of pimp.

Just finished it, loved it! More twists than a dog's hind leg. One more issue to add to the others already listed. When Mare first meets her new partner as she walks her office to meet him, it shows her computer is unlocked. I can't get past a seasoned detective leaving it unlocked.

I think she agreed to it since he was initially taking the fall for their kid murdering Erin.
Finally got around to watching it and it was a great show. There’s the obvious murder mystery but they really nailed the grief of losing an adult child. And losing a sibling. Really hit home with that and thought it was written beautifully for that.

Same here. 1st time it showed up I told my wife damn thats a badass Bronco. Not the vehicle some broke kid who cant even help get a kid ear surgery is going to be driving around.

I'm going to be really disappointed if Julianne Nicholson (Lori Ross) doesn't nab some too. Winslet was amazing but so was Nicholson, but it's flying under the radar a bit.
Also, I have to appreciate them really giving age-appropriate roles to age-appropriate women.

Just finished and that was the best "who done it" since TD s1, as a parent the connection to the kids and such hit HARD, like REALLY HARD
In my head canon, Mare invites the mom to come live with them now, so she can "help out" and be a part of the kid's life, while keeping a healthy work-parent-life balance and Mare can help her with staying clean. (also be pretty cool for the kid to grow up with his Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother)
ETA: Before I get blasted for the last statement (if I do) ... the mother proved she was trying, like, really trying, and I feel like Mare in her brokenness - with therapy actually working now, could actually help the Mother grow even more if she embraced her.
