So many moving parts to this show. Ol’ boy getting capped surprised me. I agree with previous posts, Mare’s ex and his brothers are definitely involved. I think Mark is a red herring and just a creeper.

Mare's ex husband took the dna test which was negative for being the father or Erin's baby. But would this dna atleast show some familial link to the child if his brother was the baby's dad? The shitbag ex boyfriend needs a good beating forsure.
also, why is Erin's friend helping burn journals anyway, was she in on the catfish and set up to get beat up by raggedy Anne?
Of course as soon as I say I hope American Horror Story baw gets more screen time he gets whacked. IRL I feel like the police would do much more in a sketchy situation (like in that kidnappers house) than just unclip the button on a holster. Why would they even let him walk out of the room out of their sight?
Major cliffhangers...again lol I should have sat this one out until it was all released bc its driving me nuts.

Is Zabel for sure dead, or could it have been a "Russian in the Pine Barrens" style spray of blood from a non-fatal wound?

I'm going to assume that the teenagers are running a prostitution ring and Dylan is the leader. I think jess was in charge of creating the profiles. The author is my guess of who ends up being the kid's father. I think john maybe Erin's real father. Billy knows the truth and Lori may be the killer in an act of revenge.

interesting theory, I hadn't considered that. The poor bastard who rightfully beat up the bully with the lunch thray, im still not sure how that factors in, and why is his mother (Mare's best-friend) letting it happen and not saying anything.

This is correct and I think it's awesome writing. The town becomes another "character" in the show. It sets the mood that this is a dark and dreary story. Think Seven, weather and locale were an important character in the final result. Another great example is The Killing which I feel was a big influence on this show. I think it's really good so far.

Kate Winslet should easily get an Emmy nom out of this.

I think TD season 3 is criminally underrated. I really enjoyed that season.
