Because he looks like a perfect Aryan. She is one of the old ones the young Germans were complaining about. They still wanted to promote the whole one perfect race thing.

This is why Redverse Tagomi was able to cross into the Blueverse.
Spoilers.......
Could George be doing this as well?

the producer implied Blueverse Tagomi left his family and committed suicide
Also, This was implied during the show when Juliana said she ran after him and lost him in the fog. She said she was afraid he jumped off the bridge

I still think we will see parts of the film come to life with Joe shooting Frank (though it may be staged). We'll see.
I feel like when TMITHC burned the grasshopper film along with others, he was saying that those realities were no longer possible. That's why he kept a select few

That makes sense I think the whole Hitler angle of the show is gone.
I bet next season is full of flash backs showing how easily American's got in board with the Nazi ideals.

See, that kinda clued me in a bit. She examined his face (while touching it) and said: "Heil Hitler." Why even have that scene?
Because he was part of the master-race breeding program and her generation thought of them as the first of the master race they (Germany) had been fighting to create and supersede the rest of mankind. She was literally seeing the fulfillment of her dream. (at least that's how I took it)

My question is where did those films (the ones from their own future, not from the Allies-win timeline) come from?

SPOILER Responses
His assistant who was from the Redverse seemed to be kind of involved with his meditations. He showed him how to do it without telling him what he was doing.
I think you're being too dismissive of how important that was. Showing the film got him in the door to present his evidence to Himmler and still wanting to go to war in light of the new "evidence" also made the Chancellor look like an unfit for duty crazy person that needed to be taken down.
I guess it could be Redverse Trudy, but that whole scene had been about TMITHC being the puppet master and how he knew Juliana was the key, so I thought it implied that he faked Trudy's death to put Juliana in play. Did we ever hear that Trudy had met TMITHC? We know she told Juliana she had figured out "how to fix everything" or something along those lines.
Great, the worst part of season 1 was the Joe/Frank/Juliana love triangle. Now they are setting up season 3 to be a Joe/Juliana/Nicole plus Baby Mama Drama love triangle

Throughout S1, Tagomi had situations where he kind of zoned out and the music/bass on the show went to 11, but I don't think he quite jumped (typically with Juliana's half-heart necklace in his presence). He felt that something weird was happening, though. His first full jump was at the end of S1. He wasn't bitten by a radioactive universe-jumping spider or anything, it just kind of happened.

did the bikini film actually have no impact, or at least minimal? Yeah, it got Smith to Berlin, but it was the conspiracy reveal that stopped the war.

TMITHC made it sound like he rewarded Juliana with his sister. I wonder if he could bring her there from another reality. Or maybe her death was faked to set in motion what needed to happen to save America.

Was anyone else bothered by the Joe and Nicole sex scene in the last episode? Unless she is pregnant, it seemed pretty damn pointless.

A universe that has minimal differences maybe

But who is bringing them?
And if the timeline has now changed and San Fran won't be bombed (not sure of that though, the Japanese could still screw things up and accidentally create the explosion) then what happens to that person?

But who is bringing them?
This is unclear, we know Tagomi brought one. We know his assistant is from another universe. And it's likely TMITHC either can travel to the alternate universes or knows the people that can.

The timeline didn't change. That bombing actually happened, it just happened in an alternate reality/parallel universe. TMITHC is collecting films from multiple alternate universes and trying to spot the patterns to avoid or achieve certain outcomes.

then what happens to that person?
Trade Minister Tagomi's assistant is from a universe like ours (not the show's main reality) where the Allies bombed the Japanese. Since he can travel to the alternate universes he has chosen to live in one where Japan won instead of got bombed. He also helped Trade Minister Tagomi learn how to travel to alternate universes as well which helped stop a nuclear attack. He didn't disappear when the bombing was stopped because this isn't about one primary timeline but infinite concurrent universes.

Gotcha. Thought we were dealing with only 2 timelines.

I think we've only seen 2 timelines, but the way TMITHC talks about things there have to be more than 2.

It's been a while since I watched S1E1, but, if I'm remembering correctly, Juliana turned a corner and Trudy was dead on the ground. I don't think she ever saw her get shot. After seeing Dixon in a Nazi uniform, it's possible the resistance staged her death.
Of course, this could be way off. The Kempei Tai were chasing Trudy, and I don't really remember how they reacted to her death. I may have to rewatch season 1 with season 2 knowledge.

The nazi arena scene in the final episode is badass

Yeah that Nazirena is crazy.

Is this based off of the PKD novel?

Yes, but the show diverges quite a bit
