She looked pretty damn good the second half of the season in the Reich, and especially in the alti-verse.

I'll believe it when I see his body. He & Joe are the worst actors around.

Spoilers
At least Joe isn't such a dick/ whinny bitch and has a more relevant story line unlike Frank. However, it wouldn't suprise me if they bring him back even if it's his counter part from the other reality.

Season 2 was great.
Had me on the edge of my seat the last few episodes

Not reading this thread yet but I am on episode 8 now, and this season is really excellent. Other than the nazi hippy party commune drug scene, but otherwise it's much better than season 1. John Smith is NOT someone I ever want to cross. He would be 3 steps ahead of me.

Spoilers
Frank is a bitch his character blows.
Did something happen that allowed Tagomi to jump between universes? Also was his assistant doing the same thing?
My wife had a nack for talking to me during this show and was miss a few things.

Just finished. This was a truly incredible season.
Spoilers
Yes he can travel, and his assistant is actually from here, not there.

OP needs to change the title to include spoilers, since that's what this has turned in to.
SPERLERS
Throughout S1, Tagomi had situations where he kind of zoned out and the music/bass on the show went to 11, but I don't think he quite jumped (typically with Juliana's half-heart necklace in his presence). He felt that something weird was happening, though. His first full jump was at the end of S1. He wasn't bitten by a radioactive universe-jumping spider or anything, it just kind of happened.
Yes. This was established over a few minute conversation. The assistant's family was dead in the other universe, he jumped, then decided frick going back.
It happens. Most shows get between half and maybe 75% of my attention unless they're fantastic (GoT, BB, etc...). I like MitHC, but typically don't love it. Over the last ~4 episodes, though, I was locked in.

A few thoughts:
- I enjoyed the first season well enough but this season it was my favorite show after stranger things.
- I found it a bit surprising that this show even gets made, considering that it features nazis and presents them as complex characters, some in a sympathetic light.
(Spoilers)
- I assume Hitler's dabbling in the occult let him see other worlds, improving his war strategy. Maybe that's how Germany got the bomb, securing those who developed it. I assume that saved him from some of his mistake like halting at Dunkirk, pushing into Russia in the winter, etc.
- speaking of Russia, I may have missed it but where was the Soviet Union or Russia or whatever it is in that timeline? Maybe it got nuked when Hitler saw how tough the war would be. None of the targets for the nukes in the last episode were in the Soviet Union.
- for all of you who are happy frank is dead, I hate to break it to you but I really doubt it. No body was shown. The chief inspector a few feet away survived, and he got shot. I don't mind frank on the show so don't care one way or the other.
- I really don't know where they will go with next season either, but they're setting up the world and characters very well.

Not very good, pretty slow.

I liked it. I hope it ends with season 2. I don't see where else they could go. It seemed like everything was wrapped up.

Just finished it. I just don't see how they can end this thing now - waaaaaay too convoluted and nothing was wrapped up at all. Not even close. Give it one more season.
I'd like to see what Smith does with all the tapes. He was really humanized this season and his story has massive potential still - one being him being a former American officer, with a flawed family.

I thought it was.
Spoilers
Julia served her purpose and found her sister. Frank died. The nuclear war was averted and Smith's son led himself to slaughter.
I guess it would be cool to see Smith somehow start to overthrow the Nazi regime and start leading back to the other reality.
End Spoilers

I'll echo what most said, this season was so much better than the first. I think it helped that we understood the consequences of different events. Everything felt more important, so it was more thrilling. A few comments and questions:
All spoilers
Am I just forgetting something, or did the bikini film actually have no impact, or at least minimal? Yeah, it got Smith to Berlin, but it was the conspiracy reveal that stopped the war. Maybe Himler (or was it Goebbels) would've still wanted to attack if not for the film.
TMITHC made it sound like he rewarded Juliana with his sister. I wonder if he could bring her there from another reality. Or maybe her death was faked to set in motion what needed to happen to save America.
I really hope Frank is dead, but I suspect he isn't.
Was anyone else bothered by the Joe and Nicole sex scene in the last episode? Unless she is pregnant, it seemed pretty damn pointless.
In regards to the show, the whole release of episodes all at once kills message board convos. I wanted to discuss every episode on here, but I felt that I had to wait to finish. I think this season would get talked about a lot on here if it was on HBO or something.

Me too. I avoided the board because I didn't want to see the spoilers. Maybe we should create individual threads for each episode next time.
Spoilers:
I think Juliana's sister is from another reality - has to be.
I didn't get the sex scene either - unless she will be pregnant. Which brings me to my big question:
Anyone else think Joe may be the son of Hitler? It would make the scene a bit more important if she is pregnant. I mean Joe was hatched in a lab . . . and his "father" is not a guy really immersed in truth.
Can't see Frank being dead - I still think we will see parts of the film come to life with Joe shooting Frank (though it may be staged). We'll see.

Why would the fake dad bring him in and go through all that effort if he is the son of the guy he is plotting to overthrow. I think he really is Huemmels son.
Another thing that bothered me was Joe countermanding that one soldier. He's just the son of the acting chancellor. What authority does he have?

Himmler, and yes that's what I thought. Considering that he was a realist in real life, attempting to surrender when the Reich defeat was obvious, I thought that made sense.

Yes. I skipped ahead a minute or two to skip it, that was really out of place especially in the final episode.

SPOILER
Did Joe's house keeper say he looked like the
Furher?
I am really curious where they go with Smith and his back story. While being a nazi he still seems very concerned about the wellbeing of the United States. Working to Kido to avoid war and not tourching Savanna.
