Season 2 was really great. This show kind-of hits a sweet spot for me - I'm fascinated by the concurrent alternate universe idea, and the storytelling and characters for the most part are really well done. It's by no means perfect, but it's maybe my favorite show from the last year along with Stranger Things.

It's been a while since I watched S1E1, but, if I'm remembering correctly, Juliana turned a corner and Trudy was dead on the ground. I don't think she ever saw her get shot. After seeing Dixon in a Nazi uniform, it's possible the resistance staged her death.

Didn't she see her body at the mass grave outside of the city?

Don't know if I can answer this in this thread. Are spoilers allowed?

I never thought I'd see the actor who played Ed in anything major after seeing him in Road Trip many, many years ago. He is not a very good actor

I met DJ Qualls at Vic's Kangaroo in the NOLA warehouse district once while he was in town filming Memphis Blues--total dickhead. He was sitting near us while a group of us were playing pool and he was just watching. One of my buddies went over and told him he thought he was hilarious in his past works and asked if he could buy him a beer, and Qualls just went off about being bothered when he's in public by losers like us. If not for there being not one hothead in our group that night, he would've gotten his arse kicked.

I've been rooting for his death ever since he appeared on this. The fricking writers are toying with me.

Someone made a crack about him making a career out of being ugly and the pinnacle of his life being "The New Guy". He tried to bow up and we all laughed and walked away to chase tail at Lucy's.

I thought he was one of the best characters in the show. I love his arc.

Absolutely. The second season as a whole deserves a nomination, imo.

The First Season was interesting as a whole and fairly good. Second Season was great. I loved the little details that made the show come alive. I was fascinated with the funeral, architecture, and overall appearance of a Nazi America. I think it could do with one more season.

Also, I enjoyed that somehow, we were pulling for HIMMLER to take over. They twisted us pretty well throughout.

I loved Season 2 but I just don't see how they get to Season 3.

The story has been told.

Watching season 1 now. Good series.

Some questions:
1. Why the black people in San Fran. Hitler clearly thought they were in the same boat as Jews. If the Japs gas Jews (in working with the Nazis) , they most certainly would gas black people as well.
2. What happened to all the guns in the USA. No way the Japs and Nazis can confiscate them all that quickly.
3. Doubt Christianity just waves the white flag. If that were the case, the church would have bit the bullet around 200AD.
4. Nerdy boy knows how to grab a gun from someone but no one can take a gun from John Leguizamo ?

So far, I really like the series. Hope it keeps up.

I have a feeling season 3 will feel like LOST with all the flashbacks. i think everyone wants to see how the US turned into the happy little Reich so easily.

Nukes. It's just like how we told Japan to sit down and shut up in our real world.

They nuked DC and invaded from both sides. I am way more interested in Smith's transition to a Nazi.

I have a feeling we'll get some insight on this as we see him transition out of the Reich. I can't imagine him staying loyal after his loyalty is going to cost him his only son.

It just gets better and better, especially the second half of season 2.

You're right about where I quit when I first started watching a year or so ago. I only went back after hearing such great things about Season 2. I'm glad I did. Stick with it.
