I've seen reviews from people and don't quite follow. I think both seasons of Daredevil and Jessica Jones are far superior for sure.
I find the story gets better as it goes along and I'm more interested in the back end. Haven't finished yet but getting into Cage's past, how he got his powers, and the much crazier villain Diamondback make it more intriguing to me. I'd say like 6/10 so far

I have enjoyed Luke cage series but it is not must watch like the other Netflix marvel series.

For whatever reason I have really enjoyed the slow build and character development. I think I am about halfway through

I really liked daredevil 1 and Jessica Jones. DD2 I loved the punisher parts

I think I'm about 6 episodes in. I like it. Cage can be a little wooden with his acting at times, he was like that in JJ as well, but it's not that big a deal to me.

I think the lady playing Misty Knight is very good and the playing Scarf did really well also.

Surprisingly, Alfre Woodard is one of the ones that seems to be just going through the motions so far. Not really liking her performance.

While I like TWD, not sure where it's tGOAT comes from.

I can barely get to the 2nd ep. of Luke Cage. Just don't really care for it. I think the character plays out well in a supporting roll.

I don't like it either. Cottonmouth was the best. Shades is horrible. I very much wanted him to die in SoA.

it's actually been my favorite Netflix show. the whole thing is a slow burn and i like that. i'm only about half way through though.

some acting is terribly bad though. can't argue with that.

The first 2 episodes were rough, way too much setup. Once the action starts happening it's much more enjoyable. I would agree that Luke Cage is the weakest of the NetFlix Marvel shows, but I still found it enjoyable. One big problem with all of the Defenders is this "reluctant hero" bit. I would hope future seasons that happen post Defenders would be a lot more action packed and faster paced as you don't have to lay all the back story and set up reasons for them to decide to start wrecking shite.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through Luke Cage.

Here are my thoughts. Overall, I think the show is good, and I'm enjoying it.

I don't really have any problems with the acting. My nitpick is with the action. Cage isn't dynamic enough. He's like a robot. I know that his schtick is invulnerability, but there's not enough "action" in the action scenes. There needs to be more payoff there.

I also have a little difficulty buying how New York's criminals are still in business with all the superheroes populating the town, sharing the same universe. I mean, there's Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Spiderman working the streets, with the damned Avengers chilling a few blocks over in Manhattan in case anything gets out of hand. Maybe now isn't a good time to be selling illegal weapons and drugs? I dunno... maybe get into trading Magic the Gathering cards or something?

The acting from Shades and the councilwoman were terrible.
I didn't like cottonmouth at first, but I came around and liked him a lot.
Diamondback was terrible.
Luke is just fine. yeah he's a bit robotic, but it doesn't bother me.
Misty irritates me and I fast forwarded through most of her scenes. I don't care about her character or her story.

The action definitely was lacking. In Daredevil you had the hallway scene in the first season and the stairwell scene in the second one that was just amazing.

Luke Cage is definitely far down the list from the two Daredevil seasons and Jessica Jones, for me. But I still enjoyed the new character and I think he will be much better in the Defenders. He's just not a main character to focus a show around. He's a better sidekick. I fear this for the Punisher as well. He was awesome in Daredevil, but I can't see a show focusing just on him, although the actor that plays Punisher is a lot better.

I think the Punisher will work bc of the actor. He really sold the pain and suffering he is going through.

Diamondback's plan is so laughably bad. The show was good up until he showed up then it really gets difficult to go through.

I have found most Netflix originals to be overrated. I think season 1 of Bloodline is by far their best work, although I really enjoyed Stranger Things (but that was probably largely due to the huge nostalgia trip).

We enjoyed Season 1 of Daredevil fairly well.

We enjoyed Jessica Jones more.

We bailed on Season 2 of Daredevil once Elektra showed up.

We haven't felt the need to watch Luke Cage.

Your assessment is pretty spot on.

Season 2 of Daredevil really should have brought in Bullseye.

I think the soundtrack and "live" performances were the best part of the show by far.
