I have zero faith in their ability to make a decent Mara, after seeing them ruin Thrawn in Ahsoka

No kidding. About the only one you could keep is TFA; anything after that and the amount of editing to get character development would basically make her a different person.
Just makes me wonder if Disney can shelve the egos long enough to retcon their sequels.

One of the most badass females and redemption arcs in the EU Star Wars.
I was pretty pissed when they didn’t use her initially.

The Zahn trilogy was near perfect. Maybe tweak the cloned dark jedi villian. But Thrawn and force blocking creatures was a great addition.

I thought Jedi Academy Trilogy was the absolute perfect place to go for the ST.
They are probably going to use it with Rey, which will be embarrassing.
She has almost no training to impart, aside from a few days playing with rocks.
