Started binging after watching series throughout entirety on TV in the mid 2000s. Forgot how good it was early on. Still holds up well in 2020.

Is a GOAT show.

Check out The Leftovers for a similar vibe from one of the co-creators/writers

I started watching it for the first time a while back. About halfway through S4 now.

Really enjoying it, but I now wish I would have watched it when it originally aired and been able to take part in the conversation.

It was must see tv back then... every week...

The theories and communities on the internet were the best part of it all.

I rented season 1 DVD’s and then jumped in at the start of season 2 and watched it weekly afterward. Good times

I know it gets a bad rep from “not answering everyone’s questions,” but that’s what I love about it. I thought it was great from start to finish.

Also the “ we have to go back “

May be on the most WTFFFFFFF tv moments of all time . Never saw that coming and having to wait until the fall for it to come back on was tough.

I legit will never forget that..

Finished my 6th rewatch of the show with my wife (her first) a couple of months ago. It's definitely me favorite show and the most rewatchable show there is.

I literally finished a Lost re-watch just a few days ago.

There is such a dynamic to this show for those that watched during air, binging now and those new and binge.

1. Lost hit the ground running as good as any show IMO. I could just watch the plane crash and aftermath and say that's a movie.
2. Lost was a pivotal show when TV was just starting to transition into real epic storyteller.
3. The internet wasn't new, but still infancy in some ways, but Lost had web 1.0 message boards going nuts. Think GoT on HBO but boomer.
4. I think it's a great binge show for those that haven't seen.
5. You'll love/hate every character in the show at times, but for real reasons.
6. When people with my same taste in shows recommend something to me, one of my questions ends with.. have you watched Lost? Not enough have.

I would like to do a re-watch as well. Specifically to see what stuff I missed in the original airing.

This

Don’t care what anyone says, this was half the fun and every week it was madness. I also loved the finale. Sorry not sorry

It is by far my favorite series and the GOAT series in my opinion. I had a rewatch about 5 months ago and Im ready to start again.

Just the best series in my opinion...

Mine too. I just finished a re-watch about 4-5 months ago with my then-13 year old son. He loved it.

Now, when he sees one of the actors doing something else he is like . . . “Hey that show has Sawyer in it” or “I saw Hurley on this” or “Did you know Charlie was in LoTR? Ha.

Great stuff.

Lost is #1 for me.

....well Lost is 1a and Breaking Bad is 1b.

Rewatching Rescue Me with my son now and forgot how amazing that show was.

This is something the lady and I were talking about when we first started watching. For a hit show that was a cultural phenomenon, it seems like none of the primary cast really spun the success off into a bigger, A-list career.

Evangeline Lily is now in the MCU and Charlie was in LoTR, but that was pre-Lost. The rest

We just started a rewatch, but this time we are including our kids. We're only like 5 episodes in and I laugh every. single. time. something blows their minds...They just have no idea what they are in for.

The drama that comes out of my 9 year old daughter is awesome....
OH MY GOD! LOCKE WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR!
OH MY GOD! THATS JACK'S DAD!

I'm sure this is true, but the first time I watched it was when it was on Netflix and all I could think was "I can barely wait for the countdown for the next episode to start... how the heck did people wait weeks/months?"

Were people not watching shows in the mid 2000’s? Seems like a lot of people on this board and people I know never watched it when it was originally on.
