Rumor is they're tapping this guy to play Donatello.

Spoilers: Donatello wouldn't get a lot of screen time in this.

Honestly sounds horrible to me. The appeal of TMNT to me has always been that it’s fun

Yeah, but fun is dead now. Heroism is dead now. Positivity is dead now. Everything has to be dark and “complex”…(translation: typical and depressing)

Plus turning kid shows into things kids shouldn’t see is so edgy and hip.

Bought my nephew the fancy bound edition of this comic run for Christmas.

I’ll have to remember to steal it from him next time I’m over there.

Looks more like the audience they’re targeting.

What if it was a dark, edgy, and hip comic that was turned into a kids' show?

I think it has potential if it's done properly

Needs to attach the sai to one end of the Bo staff.

And throw the nunchucks away because they are a garbage tier weapon

But then how would you weild a bo staff and katana? As it stands in that picture he's got a offensive weapon in one hand and a defensive weapon in the other

I can't disagree with that but they look cool as shite when in the proper hands. Have you seen Bruce Lee play ping pong while using one?

Man, shut up. There’s plenty of cowabunga TMNT out there for you to watch. We’re talking about 1 movie here.

Splinter is a petty dickhead in the source comics

They kill Shredder in the first book, iirc. Not for any noble reason, either.

Just Splinter saying, "he is from a rival family boys, murder him."

Ninja Turtles are dark AF

One trick of the book was that it wasn’t clear, for a while at least, which one of the Turtles lived as the survivor had theweapons of all four.
