List your Tier 1 Comic Book movies (in NO order)

0Now that it is an established genre (kind of a spin off thread)
What do you consider to be the list of definitive tier 1 comic book movies? The best in class, in no order. I'll start (caveat, I have to split one movie)
List:
Batman Begins
Civil War
Avengers
Iron Man
Winter Soldier
Dead Pool
Guardians of the Galaxy
The Dark Knight (Acts 1 and 2)
Superman II
X-Men: First Class
Everything else is on a different tier IMO
What do you consider to be the list of definitive tier 1 comic book movies? The best in class, in no order. I'll start (caveat, I have to split one movie)

I think of films that dives deep into their source material and put focus on bringing page to screen in the best way. For that reason:
Superman I/II
Spider-Man 2
X2
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
The Avengers
Batman
I wouldn't want to go much further than that. Tier 2 would be huge - BB and TDK, CA: TFA, Guardians, Iron Man, Hellboy 2, etc.

meh. After Rachel dies the movie gets pretty retarded. Up to that point though - it was a perfect movie (hence tier 1, so good the last act couldn't tank it, but it hurt it enough from keeping it from being tGOAT)

Pretty solid list. I'd take off Batman and put on The Dark Knight. But Spider-Man 2 is the virtual gold standard. I'd consider Guardians of the Galaxy for the list and maybe the first Iron Man.

Were my last two off really. I just didn't want a huge Tier 1, and both of those films just ever so slightly miss the boat on "feeling" like a comic book. GotG being a little closer to Star Wars/Indiana. Rethinking it, I should probably add Iron Man, I can't think of something it doesn't do right in terms of comic books. It just feels like it doesn't hit the mark (mostly because Iron Man solo books were weak for a long time.)
