If she's anything like the typical White Liberal woman of 2022, she brainwashed them into those identities so that her Instagram friends can tell her how "brave" she is.

In 30 years of Southpark, Simpsons, Family Guy, SpongeBob, Rick and Morty, Frozen, Incredibles, Minions, Cars, Pokémon, Dragonball, and characters like Dory, Harley Quinn, and Miles Morales, you think that Buzz Lightyear is the runaway winner?
Haha, yeah Buzz is bigger than all those mostly
Southpark - Not for children
Simpsons - Not for children
Family Guy - Not for children
Sponge Bob - Made for college students on drugs
Rick and Morty - WTF, how did this make the list
Frozen - Actually solid and among girls will win
Incredibles - Close, very close. No single standout character
Minions - Equally close, but same as above
Cars - Actually should be higher, but not with this young generation
Pokémon - Solid, this is a win for your point
Dragonball - Less of a thing now, comes up short
Dory - seriously???
Harley Quinn -
Miles Morales -

69 year old Tim Allen, dressed as Buzz Lightyear, looks into the camera and tells kids to get their parents' credit cards out of their wallets so they can get online and surprise the folks with tickets to see the new Buzz Lightyear movie! "And while you're at it, treat yourself to a couple of those R13 and R15 games your mom won't let you play!" Then you hear a fart, and Allen blames it on the cameraman as he walks out of the frame. After the announcer gives the movie info, you hear Allen (off screen), "Uh oh guys, I don't think that was a fart."
You are rambling, time for bed Grandpa. You have groomed enough kids today

FK, you used to be better than this. You're straying into Spleen territory lately by trying to defend every idiotic action by the nutjobs on your side.

Disney is imploding from within. Pretty amazing to see. Don't let your company be controlled and steered by the woke. They don't give a crap about bottom line or good product. Just feels.

Walmart has a bunch of maybe 1' tall Buzz Lightyears for $30.

Just got out the movie.
It flat out sucked. Regardless of any political stuff, it just was a bad plot and movie.

Karey Burke, the President of Disney General Entertainment Content, saying, “I’m here as a mother of two queer children, actually. One transgender child and one pansexual child. And also as a leader.”
I mean yeah that’s bad…
Now the whole “grooming” thing needs to end. I don’t think they have an end game of turning your kids gay
It’s just more annoying they’re bending over backwards to try and appease a very tiny % of the population.

That Scott Mendolson guy has already written an article claiming it has nothing to do with the woke aspects of the movie but that people don’t want to see it because they don’t want to see a movie made for or focused on a white male(in his conclusion paragraph)

…Named Buzz Lightyear, one of the most popular characters for boys ever. Yeah, sure.

Meredith Roberts and our leadership over there has been so welcoming to my not-at-all-secret gay agenda
That’s from a LGBTQ site. Not conservative click bait. I know libs of tiktok is toxic and I’m not using it as “evidence,” but they have 100s of videos of people talking about introducing these conversations at a young age for the purpose of making them more open to being gay/trans. There’s more than a few videos of “yes we’re coming for your kids.”
That being said, this probably failed because of a tiring aging audience, obvious cash grab, and Chris Evans openly deriding fans for not being happy about the focus on a gay character more than just including a character. If they had just had her in the movie and not patted themselves on the back for it, it probably would have been fine.
I don’t mind gay characters. Holt from B99 is one of my favorite characters in the last 10 years. I do mind acting like you’re groundbreaking for having one in your movie.

Definition of pansexual
1 : of, relating to, or characterized by sexual or romantic attraction that is not limited to people of a particular gender identity or sexual orientation Pansexual people are attracted to all kinds of people, regardless of their gender, sex or presentation.— Farhana Khan also : not solely gay (see gay entry 1 sense 1a) or straight (see straight entry 1 sense 3h) The famous 0-6 scale … was devised to chart sexual proclivities, from purely heterosexual (0) to purely homosexual (6). Kinsey felt humans are pansexual (most falling somewhere between 0 and 6), and restrictions imposed by society and religion lead to sexual maladjustments. — Lisa C. Hickman
2 : tending to suffuse all experience and conduct with erotic feeling Although Whitman's impulses were homoerotic, he was pansexual in the sense that he could find the driving force of something such as sex in almost everything

They've got this sh*t on WebMD, like it's science
So "Anything goes" with humans.

quote:So he writes an entire article about Disney+ killing Pixar's theatrical market, and ends saying in his actual conclusion "However, the simplest explanation is that Lightyear stumbled theatrically because theatrical audiences didn’t want to see it.", you picked out the one line where he points out the irony of "a white guy’s heroic journey/prequel origin story" not performing well (since Disney had flooded Disney+ with recent ethnic films).
