This is a solid movie with a great cast that had great chemistry. It’s funny and there aren’t any dull moments. And it’s endlessly quotable.

It’s been on HBO a lot lately. I think I’ve watched it 3-4 times in the last few months. It was a favorite of mine when it came out and still is today. Insanely quotable, and still a really good story.

It doesn't. It got plenty of praise when it came out and did well at the box office.
As far as Jim Carrey goes, it was an average movie for him and sort of the beginning of his downward spiral in comedy (exception is Me, Myself, and Irene). I thought he was funny in this movie, but it wasn't a movie that I would want to go back and watch again. I think he's been better in dramatic roles post 90's.

The best Jim Carrey movie and it's not even close at all either. Liar Liar is tremendous.
