My mom noticed something in Home Alone 2 the other day that I haven’t seen mentioned here: what a prick Peter McCallister is at the end getting pissed over a $900 room service bill when they are getting a complementary Presidential Suite that’s probably $7K a night. Sweet Christ, it’s just all about bullying and ignoring Kevin.

Not only that, they just just a shite ton of free Christmas presents from Mr Duncan.
I do think it's funny the hotel had the balls to charge them for the room service though.
In HA1 after Kevin takes the shower he mentions he did his deepest clean ever and even washed behind his ears. Why is this such a revelation to him?
After spending time with my wife's family this year and seeing how many people were packed into their house I realized something. Keven had probably never had the chance to use the bathroom long enough to take a long hot shower. He has all those siblings and they all clearly share the upstairs bathroom. Kevin might not have even ever had the chance for truly hot water. He likely gets stuck taking the last shower of the night after his siblings. With his mom being a little high strung it's doubtful he ever gets more than 10 minutes on average to bathe.

Never understood that rationale from Harry, even when I was a kid. A murder occurs in the house and Harry is like yeah let's stay and see if we can get a look at the guy in case we ever get hauled in by the cops for questioning. Dumb as hell
I actually thought it was a pretty good idea, I don't think yall are looking at it from the right perspective. It's not, "oh yeah, we were sitting in a van outside when this murder happened!", it's more along the lines of at some point down the road, at an undetermined date in the future, if the 2 of them get brought in for questioning regarding ANYTHING (not necessarily THAT "murder", just any kind of crime whatsoever), they now have a fall guy. Like during questioning they can say something like "we have heard about this up and comer making a name for himself around the block lately. Real tough dude. Goes by snakes, he looks like [description if they stayed and caught a look at him]". Thereby giving the cops a lead to follow to keep the heat off themselves.

Why does he scream when he puts aftershave on? He hasn't shaved so he doesn't have any cuts on his face.

The only thing I can think of is at some point he actually ran the razor over his face and it made his skin raw enough to sting when he hits with with the aftershave.

Him getting outraged because Kevin ran up a room service bill is stupid as hell. How the F is Kevin supposed to eat in New York?
Also, I never understood why they were comped that suite in the first place. It wasn't the Plaza's fault they lost their kid in O'Hare, or that he was allowed to board the wrong flight. The first was the Macallisters' fault, and the second was O'Hare's fault.

The Plaza staff fricked up when Tim Curry’s character went overboard with catching Kevin with the “stolen credit card” and ran him off.

Banned. I think it was last month I started a thread in the OT asking about him when someone who keeps in contact with him IRL said he was banned. I think my thread was anchored or whacked though.
