One of the best character arcs in the show.
A redemption story that took 7 seasons to mature. He went from a villain to a top 5 character.
Then he humps and dumps Brienne and runs back to Cersei. Why? Who the frick knows. The rape of Jaime’s character bothers the shite out of me.

Brienne The Cum Dumpster of Tarth

He, Tyrion and the Hound were some of the better character developments in TV history.

Agree. The Hound’s death worked fine for me

Hound? Yes, no doubt.
Tyrion? His character hasn't developed shite. Hes been the same character since Season 1.
Jaime? His character arc, possibly one of the greatest ever, was ruined the moment he left Breanne.

Jaime had potential, but was always Cersei's cuck in the end. frick him.
No one cares that he's dead.

His death would have made so much more sense if he didn’t frick Brienne. Like what even caused the change in him? He knew all along that they were trying to kill Cersei

It ended ok with them dying together. I just feel the last few steps prior to the end came up short and the Brienne post battle relationship just fell flat. Honestly should’ve just had Brienne die when she was overrun or have him unable to save her. That would at least explain some of his about face and running back to Cersei. It would be a far more believable catalyst for his return than a throw away line from Sansa.
It would be pretty GRRM like to have a character who simply can’t escape a massive chain around their neck which ultimately leads to their demise. I just hate that his greatest accomplishments were knighting Brienne and killing meth Jack Sparrow.

You're absolutely correct. Jaime Lannisters entire arc was meaningless.

I think most agree that the Jaime/Cersei ending was done very poorly and destroyed years of character development.
There's been a lot of disagreements, but I think most agree on that.

the hound died fighting a giant baby with bruised eyes

Hounds death was great. I just wish he wasn't such a pussy in the long night battle.

D&D need to kill themselves lol. They are buffoons that really didn’t have a clue what they were doing, it’s amazing that S1-4 were as good as they were with those 2 imbeciles at the helm, showed just how strong the source material is.

Cersei’s plan was to stand in the balcony the entire time.

I mean he has PTSD with fire so it didnt bother me
And I liked how Arya snapped him out of it.

Jaime never fully redeemed. In fact he never really redeemed himself at all.
He tried on redemption the way you might try on a shirt. He wore it around awhile, found it didn't fit and took it off.
I forget what episode it was but there was a point in this "redemption tour" of his where he laid siege to a castle and threatened to catapult children and babies over the wall......And he meant it. That's who his character really is.
He never lied about what and who he was, all the way up to the end with brianne and also when he told tyrion in his last scene with him that he basically didn't care what happened to the people of kings landing and that he didn't like them.
Jaime's circle with Cersei to me, was the best part of this episode. He knew where he belonged.

Most have gone mad! Mad Jamie explains it, just like Mad Queen.
