Jamie forgot his character cared about the people of KL enough to kill the king to stop him from slaughtering them.

He then forgot his development over the last few seasons.

but dont worry Arya is a Stark again, at least for another few minutes until she doesnt care again, but then maybe she cares more again. who knows. i forget

Overrated character. Not sure why people buy into the hype. “Oh...he’s so complicated”. He’s a grade A scumbag. Listen to him talk about the common people in the tent with Tyrion. He had a few moment of being the “good guy”, mostly because he had to due to losing his hand.

I shrugged when he died this episode.

thats what happens when the writers forget about his development. when they forget his scene with Brienne explaining his entire adult life hes been known as an evil king slayer when he did it to save said common people.

Nope, you just got fooled into a fairytale ending for him that was never really happening.
Jamie was a great character and it was not surprising at all he went back to Cersie. She was always his one True love and no matter what he was addicted to her and in the end would always be loyal to her and his family first.

i dagree. jaime may go back to cersei to die in the books. but he has shown that he is a flawed person that has always been painted in a bad light. he showed true regret over breaking his vow to kill the mad king. he showed true redemption by keeping all of his oaths in the book and the show.

i wish he wouldve got a better payoff, but will say that just because a character arc ends with tragedy doesnt mean it isn't a good arc.

He did it to put his family in a better position to acquire power. That’s exactly what happened because Cersei married Robert.

I was pissed he didn’t kill Cersei yesterday. I wanted to believe it will be different in the books, but that feels like something that would have come from Martin.

Why? Who the frick knows

I didn't think it was that bad. It just goes to show that true love is hard to break or really never dies no matter had bad the other person is.
