Caught up last night. I'm definitely entertained. I'm about the furthest thing from a misogynist you could find (death to the patriarchy
), but damn I hate the women in this show.
I will confess I kept nudging my wife and giving her the "that's how it's supposed to be done" nod when wife was going for the highway head.

I don't get Ariana taking a waitress gig at the Patch when Cooper just got her a million dollar settlement and she has a baby. Since she broke it off with Cooper I guess they had to find a reason to keep her on the show.
This is by far the dumbest story line of the show. Her character is terrible. Once she dumped her now rich boyfriend, they should have just written her out.
I like Andy Garcia's role. I think it makes perfect sense he is an investment guy in todays world of money laundering and mob ties. They made it pretty obvious MTex is going to need him at some point in the future with their money problems.

She might incrementally become an alcoholic working at that bar and then get on meth.
Blow through her settlement money and end up like Dookie from the Wire.

Her storyline gets a bit better in this latest episode. An understanding.
The dinner scene is great tv. Each episode gets better.
I think the blow up for this season will be massive.

Was he right about Tommy and oil industry having a blind spot?

Yes but so damn close to some full nudity on the attorney. Had my attention!!!!

They almost verbatim repeated the Monica/Casey Dutton "You didn't fight for me" and "You told me to leave" scene with Ariana and Cooper.
Taylor Sheridan loves recycling plot lines and expressions.....

Problem is, there aren't gushers in the oil patch anymore. And gasoline is less than three bucks a gallon.

It’s hilarious, especially when I think of friends who have been in the field obtaining leases. My neighbor during childhood , GT Thomas, is no gangster.lol

Pouring out a 23 year old Pappy. Damn what a waste.

I thought this episode was the best one of the season so far honestly.
Maybe it's just me being a wimp, but I shed a few tears listening to Sam Elliot's monologue in the middle of the episode. Just reminded me of how much I miss my grandpa. He was the best.

I'm tired of her bitchiness. Dude respects her home by not just going and getting his shite, and she calls him a stalker. Then she doesn't answer her phone, the same thing she gave him shite for. Then when he asked where his coat was, her response watch straight bitch, "it's always where it was".
Such a shite character now.

And just like Monica, I hate this character. Monica was a bitch, this chick is a bitch. And a bitch to two guys that would have done anything for them. Taylor Sheridan loves shitting on good guys, but glorifies spinning horses and a-hole characters.

That’s about as “frick you money” as it gets. It’s like lighting a Cuban Cohiba with $100 bills.

Literally the dumbest shite ever. “I told you to gtfo and you did so now I’m mad.”

Also, Cooper couldn’t have bothered to take the gosh damn ball cap off for the funeral?
