Who’ve you got?
Both funny, but I’m a big Kevin James guy. And Jerry Stiller gives “King” the decided edge (even though Peter Boyle has some funny moments). The character of Arthur Spooner has got to be top 5 all-time funniest on TV.

I expect more would say ELR, but King of Queens is just perfect for me. I don't care for Raymond. I much prefer King of Queens.

King of Queens is my favorite sitcom. So easy to watch and just enjoy. Like others said Arthur makes the show.

I have to go King of Queens too. Just never really could get into Raymond.

It was said of the Mama's Family sketches on the Carol Burnett Show that without a laugh track they could have played as grim psychodramas I feel the same way about ELR except the writing isn't nearly as good. That show could make my skin crawl sometimes

It's just a matter of taste.
If you like jokes in a sitcom, King of Queens is probably better.
If you enjoyed those America's Funniest Home Videos highlight reels where it's just men getting hit in the balls over and over, then Everybody Loves Raymond was made for you.

Easily King of Queens. Jerry Stiller is genius as Aurther Spooner. Plus, seasons 1-4 Carrie is perfection.

I prefer Everybody Loves Raymond. Ray and Doug were neck and neck, but Robert and Frank put it over the top for me.
I would understand people picking King of Queens though. That show is excellent too.
Arthur is the best character is either show and Carrie is fricking fiya so idk.

The wife and I finished every episode of king of queens not too long ago. Enjoyed it very much, but as my wife says, they are terrible people, and easy to not like. But I lover Arthur and Doug.
We are now on season 5 of everybody loves Raymond and we haven’t laughed together like this ever. As a family man with kids, Raymond is 10xs funnier to us. I’ve watched it before, but as a father/husband it’s so much funnier. The episode about Debra’s period is one of the funniest sitcom episodes ever.
It’s the cool thing to shite on Debra, but I honestly don’t mind her at all. Carrie is worst, and so is Jill Taylor.
Debra is like the two face from Seinfeld. Some episodes she’s whatever, and sometimes she’s downright hot.
