Dude Hollywood has been like this from the jump. Errol Flynn was preying on underage girls in the 50's. Ever here of the saying "I'm in like Flynn"? Casting couches are infamous. People are now just starting to talk about it without the fear of being blackballed. Before if you talked about it you'd be out of acting.

Did you ever read the Godfather? The movie director in the book who found the horse's head in his bed...he had a thing for underage girls.
This has always been a thing in Hollywood. It has been alluded to in books and movies and such but has never been really openly discussed in the real world until now.

Let alone physical attempted rape. You can't "put moves" on a child.
And it's still not as bad as "tried to rape" sounded in the initial posts. Compared to Weinstein wrestling women into submission and promising/threatening in order to bed them, this sounds like a case of the victim being put in a horrible position and being able to talk/walk his way out of it. Props to Rapp for standing up for himself at that young age and getting out of there.
Spacey is a monster for hitting on a 14 year old.
And I can't imagine why parents would let their high school freshman kid go to an adult Broadway party by themselves.

I find it odd that Spacey's statement reads he is now "choosing" to live as a gay man. I didn't think this was a choice situation.

Being gay and being a child molester are 2 diff things. One is criminal and one is not. Nothing in this world worse than a child molester. May they all burn in hell

Well maybe they don't want to....but they are, google his name. He is being slammed. People, especially gay men, are not happy that he would try to use that as an excuse.

You can choose to live however you want. Gay people have been choosing to live as straight people for centuries.
