I honestly thought I was turning a little gay right there as I was completely struck by that awesome display of handsome manliness. No wonder Henry Cavill is such an excellent casting for Superman.

I just wish Cavill would just say straight up if he is or isn't gay once and for all. I remember rumors going back since I saw him in the Count of Monte Cristo, which I thought was a good movie. I recall watching Cavill interviewed and someone actually asked him about his sexual preference and he was evasive. He always seemed effeminate on screen but aren't so many British? And yeah he's with women but other gays are too. There are a lot of great gay actors no doubt, it just seems it would so typical of Hollywood to cast a gay actor to play what every red blooded American boy looked up to as a super hero. Say it ain't so Superman, I mean Henry.

Just got back.
I want to punch Zach Snyder in the face.
Superman better. But had nowhere to go but up.
Worst Lois lane ever.
Not a great Alfred.
Batman worse. 20 yr old crimefighter that bulky huh?
Wonder Woman by far the best in the movie.
Flash probably next best.
Aquaman and Cyborg were good ideas but nothing stood out about the execution.
Stupid Luthor. Steppenwolf was blah.
There were no awesome iconic believable moments for me that this was the Justice League. And that is the crux on any movie. Draw me in make me care make me believe.
I believed in Wonder Woman and that is about it.
Best scenes were her butt and the Aquaman and lasso scene. Also the race with Supes and Flash.

It is astonishing to me that they cant make a great DC movie besides WW right now. Worst underachieving ever.

6/10 maybe

Do you want to know if you have a chance with him or something?

I watched it today, but I don’t have a laptop with me, so I’ll let my thoughts known tomorrow, but if I had to rank them:

1) Wonder Woman (not even a contest)
2) Justice League
3) Suicide Squad
4) Man of Steel
5) Batman V Superman

I just saw it and I would give it a 8/10. I would have loved to have seen Green Lantern in the film with Manhunter. They can only go up from here.

1.Wonder Woman
2.Justice League
3.MOS
4.BvsS
5.Suicide Squad.

This is about my ranking too. Although I like MoS more than most here. I can’t believe anyone here would compare JL with Suicide Squad. That movie was garbage.

Is it weird for you that Superman is a British actor?

Ezra Miller is gay and it doesn't bother me that he plays the flash.

Side note: Loved Cavill going shirtless there for a bit.

I didn’t know Flash was gay. He seemed so much like Jimmy Fallon to me.

Yeah, Ezra is gay. He was on the cover for OUT in sept. He talked about playing a gay man in the film. They talked to Ezra about his own sexuality and he said " I'm Queer".

How has anyone not mentioned dossier yet?

I think it was three times that Bruce said he had a contingency plan for something. That might have made me smile more than almost anything else in the film.

Its also great that they pretty much showed that Batman really has no role when it comes to fighting a super powered villain. He's just there for crowd control.

Finally, Injustice League....The New 52 members included Lex(introduced), Joker(introduced), Deathstroke(introduced), Black Manta(villain in Aquaman), Black Adam(The Rock), Catwoman, Captain Cold, and Sinestro.

Looks like they could definitely be going that route if eveything isnt changed with Flashpoint.

OK, watched it yesterday... Well I didn't hate it. It wasn't good, but it was a step in the right direction, all credit of which I give to Whedon.

The Good:
Superman- They finally got him right. That first iPhone footage of Superman was pretty whiplash effect compared to the brooding a-hole we've gotten previously from Superman. If he normally acted like this, I could see the world being sad he was gone, unlike the dictator he was presented as in the previous two films. I like how he's finally making light puns. And as for his behavior right after being revived, easy to say it produces the same effects as the Lazarus Pit does.

The Flash- Really enjoyed him on this. The awkward puns worked for the most part. I'm a fan of the post credits scene where he and Superman decide to get in a race.

Wonder Woman- Enough said.

Aquaman- He's nothing like the Aquaman from the comics, but he was very enjoyable. I particularly liked the scene in the jet where he had the Lasso of Truth wrapped around him.

Deathstroke- He looked fricking awesome in the post-credit screen.

No overwhelming plotholes- I'm sure there are some, but none of them were enough to take me out of the movie.

Good Banter between the characters- Kind of builds off some of the things said above (Aquaman's plane scene particularly), but there was none to speak of in Snyder's previous films.

The Mediocre:
The Action- There was never really a "frick yeah!" moment for me in this in regards to the action, with the possible exception to Wonder Woman in the bank and the Flash vs Superman. It was just ok.

The Final Location- This just comes across as classic reactionary Snyder as the choice for the location. He still doesn't understand why people were pissed off at the end of MoS with the mindless destruction of Metropolis, and then he doesn't understand why we were pissed off at the end of BvS when he has it take place in an abandoned city island (that he says repeatably to the audience) and no one dies. So he still wants the finale to take place in a big city with at least some people, so he lands on Chernobyl and puts 2 dozen people there. I mean, it makes sense that Steppenwolf would want to start a firepit there at least, so subtle improvement from Snyder but still shows he doesn't understand our criticism.

Batman- I'm thinking maybe I was bit too forgiving of Affleck's Batman in BvS given how much of a dumpster fire that movie was and him being the only passable thing. He doesn't come off as the badass he is in the comics or the previous film. He is totally overshadowed by everyone else, including the fricking Parademons, which while that makes them threatening, it makes Batman come across as weak. Batman should be able to take down a few Parademons at a time without a gun.

The Bad:
No Green Lantern- Yeah one makes a cameo in the past, but he's really missing in this. Sure I knew this going in, but it's really like an old friend is gone. If you need the diversity hire, go with John Stewart who is actually my favorite Green Lantern.

Cyborg- He has an essential role, but he comes off way too dark and brooding. Plus I don't know why Cyborg is one of the essential members of the Justice League. Again that may be biased from the onset, but I didn't enjoy Cyborg at all in this and I'm a big fan of the character. Plus he mostly looked like shite.

Lois Lane- Amy Adams is a fine actress, but she comes across more than ever as radically miscast. I think she's miscast than Kate Bosworth was as Lois Lane, which is saying a lot. At least she wasn't shoved into every scene where she had no business being.

Steppenwolf- Just garbage. Like who cares? He's just Generic Bad Guy #8. He looks like shite as well, which leads me to-

The CGI- It's so easy to tell this was on a green screen. Thor looked fantastic, but this somehow looked even more cartoonish, which is ironic given that Thor was actively trying to be cartoonish while this was trying to be dark.

Too rushed/whiplash scenes- It becomes obvious which scenes Whedon wrote and which one Snyder wrote. Like the one between Lois Lane and Martha Kent was straight out of BvS and Whedon didn't care enough to go reshoot that scene. Also what was the point in the house being foreclosed by the bank? Seems like a Wisseau like decision.

The movie could have probably used another 20 minutes of air.

Lex Luthor- I was excited to hear all his scenes were cut, but he was back at the end. And now they're trying to play Eisenberg off as a more classic Lex Luthor with yachts, suits, and hot babes all around him? Maybe a slight positive, but it's still Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Again, I'm not giving Snyder the credit for this, because I guarantee this was Whedon's idea.

But yeah, by all standards, this is an improvement from Snyder's garbage, but his presence is still felt. Whedon did as good of a job cleaning up the mess as he could, and I commend him for it. I'd give it a C+ and a fresh tomato if it were on the Tomatometer.

Using mustache Superman for the opening scene. They should've opened with the Batman scene. I know what Whedon was going for, but it was unnecessary. And your first image is a bad CGI Superman.

I think that was an excellent decision from Whedon. It just said "I understand Superman as a character and know how to show and not tell" which makes people like me let my guard down and give this film a chance.

Why did Batman call for Nightcrawler? Isn't he in X-Men? They should have researched that better. Also why did Lex say they needed A League of Their Own? What does women's baseball have to do with any of this?

Was talking about the Jake Gyllenhaal movie. Makes sense since we now know thats who Reeves wants for the Batman movie.

Cyborg not immediately going after the mother box when it flew out of the chamber after Superman woke up stood out to me. His dad just told him how important it was and now he forgets about it?

Also, Flash wore his suit to protect him from heat. Why did the people he rescued not burn up? The way he ran looked weird too.

Easily explained away by saying he ran slower with other people. What you gotta wonder about is why his face, eyes, and fingers don't need protection.
