I wouldn't consider any of the GotG to be major characters at all. The movie is the ONLY reason the majority of people know who they are.

Was the actor that played the prison guard during the visitation scene (magic marker) the same one that played Jimmy Olsen in the Donner movies?

Yes. Definitely.

We don’t see how Doomsday’s body was disposed of in BvS. Since the JL team brought back Superman, do you think this leaves the door open for Luther, Darkseid or others to rejuvenate Doomsday in a future movie? Thought of that during the movie.

If Superman is smart, he'll claim that Kryptonian ship and movie it to his Fortress of Solitude. Lazarus pit and all.

I'm about to go see Justice League for the first time here in a couple of hours. I'm sure you all can't wait to read my opinions on it.

Just watched it. A big fat 'meh' for me. I agree with the reviews that the characters save this from being a total disaster. The cgi was laughably bad. A lot of the scenes, especially the ones with Steppenwolf, looked like video game cut scenes.

Justice league fights Superman. Only decent thing in the whole movie.

Steppenwolf and his army of locusts were stupid.

Cyborg CGI wasnt that bad.

Steppenwolf was better when you couldn’t see his face.

Did I mention Superman versus Justice League? Awesome fight.

Flash and Superman saving people was great.

Batman’s opening scene was great...better than WonderWoman’s and Aquaman.

Flashback scene of the God’s, Atlanteans, and Amazons fighting Steppenwolf was good.

DC needs to take their time and craft a good, respectable villain to fight

DC has crafted a lot of great villains, the most iconic in comic books IMO. WB has not met their quality. From the descriptions of the scenes deleted from the film, I put this on WB. Considering their hackery of the BvS theatrical cut, the theatrical cut of Suicide Squad, and now this cut of the Justice League WB has no one to blame but themselves.

Saw it tonight. Thought it was much better than BvS, not as good as WW. Doesn’t deserve a 37% on RT.

Mamoa was awesome. Why can’t they get Superman’s dialogue right?

Villain wasn’t that good. Flash was a little annoying like autistic or something.

Agreed. Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League is reportedly three hours long. The suits at Warner Bros. had Joss Whedon do extensive editing and re-shoots to get the run time down to under two hours.

There is an online petition that has over 100,000 signatories demanding that Warner Bros. release Snyder's cut of the film.

I'm surprised to be saying this but I don't feel like I will ever have seen the true Justice League movie until Snyder's cut is released in either theaters or on Blu Ray.

A 3 hour movie would be a disaster money-wise to executives.

You are basically looking at, regardless of how ‘good’ the movie may be, showings cut by 1/3...in other words, an opening weekend with projected estimates of 75million.

And the movie wasn’t that good. No amount of extra footage could cover-up the god-awful CGI of Steppenwolf and his locust army.

I would still like to see all the extra footage and hopefully less "fun" tone of the original cut. Steppenwolf's CGI I give you, but the Parademons were much better realized and individually better looking than the Avenger's Chitauri.

Zacks son posted this. We got extended cuts of BvS and SS, I'm almost certain we'll get one for this film as well.

On a more serious note I did enjoy the movie, although it is clearly not what it could have been due to the meddling of Warner Brothers and the forced comedy,” Jett wrote on Vero. “The run time was my biggest gripe with the movie, with events that should take a long time over in a flash; $ but still definitely a fun movie to watch, and would recommend it."

If the movie had been more well-received by critics, I am sure the film would have done much better on opening weekend. And strong word of mouth would have brought others into the theater. Just because a film is 3 hours doesn't mean it's going to lose money with fewer showings. I always point to Titanic. That film was 3 hours and 14 minutes long and made over $600 million in the United States alone.

Just saw it. Let me preface by saying BVS is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I literally hate everything about that movie. That being said this movie was pretty good.

I wish they did more origin stuff for the characters besides the obvious ones. I don’t read comics so I kept thinking how did this person become this or what’s this persons background. 6.5/10

As for my review, I thought the film was pretty good. I actually feel like the film could have benefited from Synder's three-hour cut due to the fact that things kind of moved TOO fast. I did love the characters though and found the tone to be in line with the previous films in the franchise.

As Ben Shapiro pointed out in a tweet, the best thing to do is add 20% to the Tomatometer for a DC movie, and subtract 20% from a MCU movie to get a more accurate accounting of the quality of the film.

Final Grade: B-

Not really "bad" per se just disjointed and a tired story we've seen done better

Sometimes, but Thor 3, Spidey, and Civil War all thoroughly deserved 90%+ ratings. I poo pooed Marvel for a long time but they have been doing well lately.
