Just started the Rocky movies (update page 3)

I’ve seen some of the first few but have never watched past that. Will go all the way to Creed II. Which are you favorite? I’m on Rocky II now.

When I was younger, Rocky IV was the best because of the action. As I got older, the original Rocky became my favorite because of the story.

I know I’m not in the majority but my favorite is Rocky III. To me it kicks the shite out of Rocky IV. Pure 80s awesome cheese along with Mr. T (Clubber Lane) Hulk Hogan (Thunder Lips), and Rocky being soft and having to go back and find his eye of the Tiger.

Rocky 3. It has the most action throughout. Rocky 4 has the best fight, but that’s only 20 min of the movie.

this answer changes for me depending on mood.
Rocky 2 is severely underrated and at times might be my favorite. There really isn't a whole lot of boxing in it compared to others. It's really about Rocky trying to navigate life after getting his 15 minutes and shows his struggle with people's expectations as well as almost losing his wife.

The first Rocky is a career character actor's dream. If not for that role, Sly would have been just another noticeably unusual actor instead of a leading man.

Rocky 4 is the GOAT because it was just so frickin MURICA and won us the cold war IRL.
3 was magnificent because it was so kickass 80s and was the only time Adrian didn't suck.
1 had a great underdog story and was just great 70s character study.
The final act of 2 was glorious, possibly the best final fight of the series but it needed to edit out like 15 minutes of Adrian's hospital/pregnancy story. That shite is a real kick in the pants on rewatch.
