Just saw Home Alone for the first time in years...

3 problems:
1. When the mom gets to Paris she hands her wallet to kids and says “get my change and call everyone you know”
I don’t see how she could possibly have French Franc’s in change in the first 10 min of getting to that country.
2. Kevin is walking home and BOTH bags break at the EXACT same time? Seriously?
3. Daniel sterns character was clearly hit ON THE TOP OF HEAD with iron, but the front of his face had the outline of the iron.
Anyone else notice this?

1. As a responsible woman she exchanged quarters for francs ahead of time.
2. The inertia of trying to quickly counterbalance the second bag will inadvertently place more stress on the second bag causing the breakage seemingly simultaneously.

Anybody notice when Kevin's dad meets Joe Pesci's character dressed as a cop, the fist thing he asks is "Am I under arrest?"

I never cared that this happened in the movie. I keep just trying to figure out how they made it happen. Are there like tiny threads going off set that someone pulls to rip tears in the bags. Is it some trigger that "Kevin" has on him. Around Christmas my son always binges that movie multiple times. That scene always makes me think about that.

Biggest one to me is here bargaining with the elderly couple to get their seat. Who in the hell wouldn't give up their seat in that situation? "Sorry that your 8 year old is by himself and another country and possibly dead or kidnapped by now, but I couldn't possibly be bothered to wait for a later flight to help you out"
