No clue why it has become trendy to bash Skyfall. It was praised upon release and is still one of the more well made and acted Bond films. I love it.

Top 10 in no particular order:
Casino Royale
Goldeneye
Goldfinger
From Russia with Love
Living Daylights
Skyfall
Dr. No
For Your Eyes Only
License to Kill
Live and Let Die

World is not enough gets bashed because of Denise Richard’s terrible acting. The movie itself is pretty good.

I just wanted to share that I sometimes use Bond derivative names for our trivia teams. Such as:

In Her Majesty's Secret Cervix
The Man With the Golden Shower
Coldfinger
For Your Thighs Only

Diamonds are Forever is underrated. Connery’s Bond in 1970s Las Vegas, two creepy henchman chasing after him the whole movie, hot co-star. It’s one of my favorites.

Tier 1: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball

Tier 2: You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Spy Who Loved Me, Live and Let Die

Tier 3: The Man With the Golden Gun, For Your Eyes Only, Moonraker, Octapussy, License to Kill, Goldeneye

I didn't like the others.

The entire catalog dropped on Netflix about a week ago. Can watch in order. I'm through Thunderball. Long way to go.

I also started doing this, I’ve seen the newer ones here and there but never actually watched most of them.

I just finished her majesty’s secret service, prob my least favorite so far.

Possibly this
quote:

S stands for "shuu" (?), which is Japanese for "excellent".

It was basically used in Japanese schools originally for grading. So it would be above an A

That's fair. Moving from Connery to Lazenby is jarring. However, i think you will start to like it more if you give it another watch. It's really well done.

I love Lazenby.

He was talking about the movie, and he said we were stuck up on that mountain, and we did a lot of what men and women like to do.

"Did you sleep with all of the women?"

"Not sure, but probably "

"Even the old lady?"

"I was drunk "

You Only Live Twice should be top tier.
Ninjas repelling down a fake volcano with swords / fine Japanese women / mini helicopters dropping explosives on other helicopters. Are you kiddin' me? Also written by Roald Dahl and Ian Flemming. it might be the best Bond ever.

I am a lifetime Bond guy who has watched every single movie 10 or more times. Its just one of my favorites. I grew up in the 70s and 80s and my list would be very different than yours and some of the others here

I feel like Roger Moore does not get the credit he deserves. He embodied Bond and was a perfect fit for what Bond was in the beginning. He played the part perfectly. Some of the Moore movies were a little corny at times but they are some of the best ones in my opinion.

For your eyes only is probably my favorite Bond movie and my favorite Bond girl.

Moonraker has some serious girl talent and was a great concept for that time of history.

I love all the guys who played Bond but I grew up with the new movies coming out with Moore and then Pierce B.
