Finished it up last night and really liked it.

Enjoyed pretty much every character and their story, which is not something you can usually say about a show. Was a well written season.

Alice Eve did a great job in that role. She was pretty creepy. Looking forward to more of that character.

I was Really looking forward to this show but last season kinda sucked.

Instead of acting like someone who spent his entire life learning martial arts and can punch his was out of most problem, Danny spent last season acting like a freshmen humanities major from Berkeley.

He literally only used his fist on inanimate objects.

Did they toughen that guy up a bit?

The storyline in season 2 naturally allows him to fight less often. He still isn't a good martial artist but that's not much of an issue in season 2.

Season 2 was fricking great. I like that they kept it simple and every single character was orbiting around the one main story-arc.

Ward is just like Cal Roberts in the Path. Two people who are inherently good at their core that were dealt just shite hands that became their identity due to their fathers. Watching them struggle to stay on the right path is so interesting to watch, as it creates really feel good moments as they slowly conquer.

I really like the actress and the stunt double for Colleen Wing. She looks great in her fight scenes.

Davos and Danny had some EXCEPTIONAL dialogue in this season. The last time Danny spoke to Davos was such a great back and forth.

This was the season this show needed. It's hard to believe it's even the same show as season 1. I'd easily put it in the top 3 of the Netflix MCU, if not #1. I think they did enough to get another season (I hope at least), as the reviews from what I can tell are all positive.

You completely forgot the creepy performance by Alice Eve as the 2nd most unstable character in all of Marvel comics.

This was really my only major issue with the season, it didn't really make sense for her to be that over the top.

Finished up the season this weekend. It was way better than season 1. As someone who became an Iron Fist fan based on the Fraction/Aja/Brubaker run, I'm really excited to see the direction of the potential season 3.

They set it up perfectly to have a globetrotting Danny Rand in IF season 3, with Colleen and Misty getting their own season apart from that.

I want to see all of the Immortal Weapons brought in. I'd like to see more of the history of the Iron Fist as well.

I almost get the sense that that might be what season 3 is.....and maybe they'll hold off on Danny/Randall v Davos until season 4......that would be a gamble....might bomb on them so 3 will probably be a combo of those with maybe 1-2 history episodes.

ETA Another thing....anybody else hope that we see a combo of kingpin/typhoid mary in daredevil s3???

I finished it up last night, it was way better than season 1, and I'm someone who actually kinda liked season 1.

Comic readers: what is Mary Walker's 3rd personality? Is it Typhoid Mary? Or is Typhoid Mary the same person as Walker?

Also, I never watched Luke Cage season 2. What happened to Claire?

So that would be a spoiler.....let's just say that LC S2 ended up with them having some relationship issues that will probably need to be worked through.

There's:
Mary Walker
Typhoid
Bloody Mary

In the show - It was Mary and Walker = Typhoid. Bloody is probably what broke her out of Helmut's prison.

I saw that she may be done with the Netflix Marvel shows for good IRL. She was probably just tired of playing an annoying character that served no purpose since they changed her from nurse to nag.

I looked up Typhoid Mary in Wikipedia and it made me even more interested in seeing more of her. Crazy + Superpowers + Ambiguous Allegiance makes for some good story telling. Since she has history in the comics with Kingpin and Daredevil, that'd make sense as a place for her to show up next.

Kinda figured. I guess I may have to give LC 2 a shot. Did it improve as much as IF?

It improved on LC1...but not nearly as big of an improvement as the Fist.

I guess I didn't really dislike season 1, they just lost me when they killed off Cottonmouth. I stopped watching and just never got back to it.

LC S2 was much better than S1. Bushmaster was a good villain and Luke wasn't as much of a reluctant hero.

I agree it didn't need to improve as much as Iron Fist did.
