It actually didn't go down like that. I pitched Mr. Jeph Loeb my take on a theme for the season -- which was "duality & balance" -- both in character arc and plot. And he came back and said: "What do you think about Typhoid Mary as a character." I said I adored her. He asked if I would consider using her in the season and I fell off my chair. I got up, slowly and asked him if this was a real thing or if he was messing with my head (because he knows what a fanboy I am at heart) and he told me he wasn't. He liked the idea of how she might fit into the theme and he also liked the idea of pulling a character from another comic (like DD) and using her in IF.

This season is far better. Still a little silly due to Danny’s childish ways but I like Typhoid’s story line but wish there was another element besides Dabos.

Just finished this up. I'm assuming there's a much bigger history with being able to transfer the power of the fist to weapons, but Colleen with the sword and Danny with the guns was pretty sweet and unexpected.
My only gripe with the season was that I thought Davos went down relatively easy considering he had two iron fists. Besides that really great season and another great Netflix Marvel addition.

In reality, the only Netflix characters with enough content for their own series are Daredevil, Luke Cage and Punisher due to the extensive set of villains between the three of them.
Jessica Jones' only real villain (besides her drinking problem) is Purple Man. They borrowed Nuke from Daredevil.
Iron Fist's only real villain (besides the Hand) is Steel Serpent. They borrowed Typhoid Mary from Daredevil.
Instead of having five series like they have now, they can reduce it to 2-3 with 3 ensemble mini-series mixed in.

Yeah, it was hard to watch this show. I got tired of Danny reminding us every episode that he was the Immortal Iron Fist, Sworn enemy of the Hand and protector of K’un L’un.

I just imagine the racial draft Dave Chapelle sketch where Netflix gets to keep Daredevil, Disney gets Iron Fist, but they have to also let Netflix keep Punisher.

I'm really bummed that they cancelled it after such a strong season 2 and a great direction for the series to go.

Danny will probably be sprinkled in across the Netflix board.
Cage and DD for sure.
This series missed the true origin (showing the literal act of ripping the heart from the dragon) wouldn’t put him in the costume quick enough-maybe because DD keeps getting out of his own.the action scenes suffered from not having a better stunt team/difficult to without a costume or great budget.
Ever notice how in the title sequence Danny is jumping around doing kicks but in the show he never does?
A character like that needs high level stunts. So every fight doesn’t just end with his Fist glowing.
I’d love for the Netflix ones to be intergrated and a with a soft reboot into the real MCU.
Keep the actors for the most part, eliminate the more boring supporting characters.
Punisher, Kingpin, Daredevil and Spider-Man need a damn movie together.
Blade, Shang-Chi, Wing and Fist can have a kung-fu vampire movie.
And F’N Moon Knight can be in both of them.
