Considering Snyder turned Superman into a loathsome dictator, not really.

Here’s your attention. Is that enough?

I'd say Captain Marvel is debatably the second most powerful member of the Avengers, with Thor I think comfortably more powerful, and Hulk, Dr Strange, and Vision being in the debate. She has complete mastery over energy and is super strong. I think she's vulnerable to magic though.
In terms of strength, it's always been a debate between Thor and Hulk. If we are talking about World Breaker Hulk, then Hulk probably edges out Thor. Ms. Marvel is strong, no doubt, but her strength was never her strength, but her mastery over energy.
If the MCU had gone the direction of classic Dr. Strange, then the most powerful character, aside from Thanos w/IG, in IW would have been Strange.
All that being said, I'm most curious to see how true to the comic story arc they stay. Nebula is still alive, so there is a possibility.

He is the villain from GOTG that was defeated in a dance off

Nobody cared about Superman not because we knew he was coming back but because they spent 2 movies making him a whiny unrelatable douchebag.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Marvels ability to absorb all forms of energy and use its to her advantage makes her crazy powerful. Also in her Binary state her power is unmeasurable thus making a solid 2 next to Thor correct?

No, because he, and that movie, both sucked

Can someone tell me why Dr. Strange did not use the Time Stone in his battle w Thanos? He's turns it over to Thanos as Starks looks on incredulously.

Just keep rewinding time until they find a way to kill him.

He said there was only one outcome where they win so I'm guessing it has to do with keeping Tony alive

Are you just being retarded to be retarded, or do you honestly not see the difference in why Spiderman's "death" (even though we know he's coming back) was a lot more emotional than Superman's "death"?

This was a big beef I had. They were close to having the gauntlet off his hand. Just keep rewinding time until you are successful. Instead he just hands it over.

I was thinking the same thing but if this doesn't come true in the following movies, I'm going to pretty upset.
Going into the movie, I thought Stark was a goner.

wouldn't be a marvel movie thread without Fewer's passive aggressive digs

Also, how would Cap take a punch from Thanos with the gauntlet?

My 15yo son has read all of the comics and geekgasmed his pants when he saw Fury summoned Capt. Marvel

Forgive my comic book ignorance, but isn't that bow-less Hawkeye with swords?
That's Ronin, the "master-less samurai" that Barton became after Civil War in the comics.
Ronan The Accuser is the Kree that the Guardians defeated in the first movie

If Spiderman, one of the three most popular super heroes of all time, telling Tony "i'm not ready to go yet Mr. Stark" doesn't give you the feels, then you've either got no heart, or you simply didn't care one iota about this movie and this saga that's been going on.
It's ok to admit as a man that you have feelings.
bruh everyone knows that they're coming back. come on.

It seemed pretty obvious to me that the one scenario where they defeat Thanos that Strange talked about meant having to save Stark for now.
Someone earlier in the thread even theorized that Strange knows by saving Stark now that he'll die later to defeat Thanos, backing up his statement that he would let Tony die to protect the Time Stone.

As did I, but then I realized there is NO WAY they kill Cap or Stark until they have had their reconciliation and/or sacrifice together
