That's your subjective opinion so I can't prove you wrong. All I can tell you is that I disagree.

I dunno. Everyone knew the snap wasn’t permanent.

Do you really think anyone will be watching Infinity War in 20 years? With the amount of CGI these films have, they age like milk.

I don’t know about that, but Thor: Ragnarok is this generation’s Raiders of the Lost Arc

Marvel movies are for hokie. If you are saying they are fun...ok...if you think they are good movies i fear for your brain.

It looks like, but it isn't, For a lot of reasons.
Star Wars was new and enchanting in a way that people didn't know film could be. IW doesn't have that luxury. Yes, it will make an impact from the "film as universe" concept, it will likely be the best one for a long, long time, but that isn't as charming as Star War' key hook.
It still took a few years, even after Empire, to get the merchandising train going, so Empire was more pure. IW was born out of Disney's merchandising prowess, so Marvel will continue to get a lot of product love and Disney itself will look to move past it or downplay it so that people will be "into the next thing," which taints all ofDisney's moves related to IW. Remember, kids were buying Empire stuff until 1999. We won't be buying "Infinity War" stuff in 5 years.
Empire stood relatively alone, or with 2 other films at most. IW has to contend with The first Avengers, Winter Solier, Guardians, Ragnarok, etc.
Lots of other reasons. I don't think we'll ever see an Empire again. That isn't a bad thing. IW will be it's own "thing." It doesn't have to be Empire.

If you're saying that Infinity War is an enjoyable piece of entertainment that is being propped up as some important pillar of cinema by movie fans of a certain age, much like Empire, I won't try to change your mind.
If you're saying the silly marvel mini-series with the sad ending deserves that pillar treatment, I won't try to change your mind because I don't argue about movies with children.

There are some legit good Marvel movies. You're painting with a large brushstroke there.
Now, I don't think anyone is comparing them to Shawshank Redemption or The Godfather Part 2, but to say NONE of them are even GOOD is just being edgy for the sake of being edgy.

This. I do dislike when people bring up predictability against Marvel or films like it.
Here's a tip: The heroes win 99.999999% of the time. If you didn't know. This has ALWAYS been the case since oral mythology. We'd don't watch movies or listen/read stories because the end is surprising, that's it's own smaller category that most art doesn't fit in to, we watch it to watch the hero's journey. And that journey always results in a positive effect, which is usually a win (but doesn't have to be). In the case of visceral man vs. threat action, yes that's usually means a win.

Exactly. We had a 10 year journey in this case. Marvel pulled off something people cannot do with just two movies

Ehh...empire is legendary. We'll see if IW is beloved in 40 years.

They are. You are being obtuse. There's no such thing as "fun" movies. There are movies that are fun, and those can come from good and bad movies.
Good movies means, at the very least, competently made films with quality acting, directing, writing, lighting, effects, et.c (all of the "film" properties that are relevant to the film) that achieves an end goal in a satisfying way with cogent characters, plot and narrative that serve its intentions. A good movies presents a good front to back story in a meaningful and quality way on the screen.
That's it. I'd say 30% of film is generally "good" and Marvel films fit into that. 2-3 of the Marvel films might fit into the great or excellent category. None will be "classics," although the experience as a whole may contend for that title simply on what it achieved alone.
But you can't say that, thinking of something that might be sort of universally "ok/good," The Fifth Element is good and Marvel films are not (believe me, I absolutely love that movie and think it's awesome). But general sentiment is probably like "Yeah that's good." In the grand scheme of things they are vastly similar in the end. Both are good, for different reasons. Greatness - that's slightly more personal unless you are talking about true universal classics, of which there are very few anyways.
Or to put it in sports terms - Marvel films are not the Lions or the Dolphins, they also aren't the Chiefs. They were the Titans, maybe Bills in terms of 2019. They are "good."
