Freaux - since we are the same person... no. Only one person has seen Kicking and Screaming.

10-12: Hard to beat the Sandlot. I'd also suggest ET. There was no alien, but that's what being 10 was like.

16-18: Say Anything. We all wanted to be Lloyd Dobler.

21-24: Kicking and Screaming. Not the Will Ferrell one. Actually, its the movie I most identified with aside from maybe Clerks. It just hit what we were like.

Would make a fine alternate list for me as well.

1. Stand By Me (as kids we always got into trouble and took off looking to do things. No way now I would let a kid of mine just go off for hours at a time or even overnight)<for this one first thing that popped to mind was Sandlot or Goonies>

2. Can't Hardly Wait (or another movie from this period covering high school BS; this movie is a great time capsule for those of us that graduated in 1998)

3. Van Wilder (Because I went to a school that I always wanted to go to since I was four. Then proceeded to just party and screw around and paid very little attention to class and made poor decisions whose effects I still feel; but I partied a lot and had cool stories from the past, so I guess that's worth not staying Pre-Med. :lol)

As cliche as it sounds, PCU is not that far from my college expereince. Shameful, but true.

I guess my 21-24 would be LOTR. Those were some crazy years.

Unfortunately, The Sandlot won't be used to depict the 10-12 year olds of today in a thread like this ten years from now.

I posted in another thread that Chris Eigeman is one of the most underrated comedic actors of my generation.

He makes that movie, and Last Days of Disco.

Hell, he's the only reason I watched It's Like, You Know

And no movie that features Elliot Gould in any capacity should be shunned. Plain fact.

I'm older than most:

What I wish it was like:
10-12 (1969-1971)Sandlot-Rodriguez
16-18 (1975-1978)Dazed & Confused-"Pink" Floyd
21-24 (1980-1982)Good Will Hunting-Will

Best Cyber image:
10-12 (1969-1971) Sandlot-Rodriguez
16-18 (1975-1978) American Pie-Oz
21-24 (1980-1982) Wall Street-Bud Fox

The truth:
10-12 (1969-1971)Sandlot-Scotty Smalls
16-18 (1975-1978)Friday Night Lights-Mike Winchell
21-24 (1980-1982)Road Trip-Josh
