Not a show, but a Hugo Award Winning novel, The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers does a good job.

So does Dan Simmons (yep, I'm bringing him up again) in his Hyperion Cantos.

I might get killed for this but I thought the time travel aspect of Deja Vu was interesting. (How the government stumbled onto the ability to look into the past.)

I can't imagine going back in time without doing at least 88mph much less without a flux capacitor.

In BTTF 2, Marty says, "there's not enough road to get up to 88mph"

Doc says "where we're going, we don't need road!"

Love the show, but that made no sense. You've got to get up to 88mph in the present, so the fact that there is no road in the future would be irrelevant, right?

What about "Time Cop" with Jean Claud.

Just kidding. That movie is awful, but are there any other time travel movies that answer the question of what happens when the same person from different times occupy the same space? If I cut myself does the future me have a scar?

The Short Story was much, much better than the movie.

Been a while since I saw it, but didn't the car fly immediately after that? I think that's what Doc meant...don't need no stinkin' roads, cause now this bitch can fly.

I've always felt someone should make a movie of the Dean Koontz novel Lightning.

***Spoilers****

You get roughly halfway through the book before you find out that the time traveler is not from the future. He's from the past. Future time travel is the only travel that avoids the "grandfather paradox". There are several discussions about paradoxes from the perspective of a 12 year old boy, to simplify the jargon.

I would say Butterfly effect. Great job/story

Also, I didn't think terminator did a good job. I liked the idea, but it is impossible that John Conner wouldn't have been conceived if John conner hadn't sent his "dad" back

The Terminators created their own worst enemy by trying to go to the past and kill him, but instead led to his creation.

If you think about it, the Terminators created themselves because without the chip and right arm of the original Terminator then Skynet would have never happened.
