It sounds so bad you can't even do that. I bet How Did This Get Made does an emergency episode on it and nobody recommends it

I'm an hour into it and it is the longest 1 1/2-hour movie ever made.

I find myself wondering what the production/editing crews thought while slapping this together instead of the "plot" such as it is. I'm embarrassed for them.

RLM hasn’t put a video out in a bit. Eagerly awaiting their half in the bag or best of the worst on it

I'll take y'all's word for it, but it's hard to believe it could be worse than the 2005 Tom Cruise version. That said, feeding Dakota Fanning to the tripods would have vastly improved that one.

Rant: Is Hollywood so out of ideas that they can only do remakes of (bad) movies?

it looks infinitely worse than the Cruise version. Have you even looked at any of the clips?

The Cruise version looks like Citizen Kane next to this movie

Had not even heard of the movie until this thread. Like I said, I'll take your word for it. And, no, I'm not retarded.

I will say this about the Cruise version, I found the scene where the tripods were harvesting people for terraforming to be pretty disturbing. I like sci-fi but not horror, and that pushed it over the line for me.

2005 WotW was directed by Steven Spielberg.

I have a lot of issues with the film, but it has some truly very good moments in it, and some really interesting shots.

It might as well be the greatest film ever made in comparison to this film.

I actually watched it all the way through. The hold time I kept thinking "there's no way this can get worse" then a beer would appear for me to hold.

The best part and sorry, not really sorry is a spoiler was when someone asked Ice if he had a usb port/ he then proceeds to talk about how he's at the NSA, taking National Security seriously and of course they didn't have one cause of sensitive info. meanwhile the entire movie he's on Amazon, Facebook, Twitter/X, What's app, messenger, Facetime and every fricking thing else.

This is what happens when you don't hire an actual expert to consult on what he should be using/seeing.

It’s bad and the acting worse by Ice. Almost looks like it’s pieced together when he speaks. It is just terrible.

I really liked that movie. Can’t believe it’s that old now.
