Perhaps we're in the hundreds for how many times someone here has said this, but I'm here to let anyone know who's hanging on that it's OK to let go. Rest assured you'll read episode spoilers and be satisfied in knowing you made the right decision because the show sucks even more than you thought it did. Downvote away.

More like "Not this episode, not next episode, not the next 27 episodes, but I'm gonna kill you."

You probably know this already, but next season the show is being run by different people. My suggestion would be to try to hang on until then and see what happens.

I was a huge fan but it was stacking up more and more on the DVR and I quit watching when Glen got it.

I’ve thought about going back and catching up but haven’t signed up for Netflix yet and it’s not a priority.

It’s hard to beat the first few seasons though...

The only reason I'm even sometimes watching it is because it's fun to watch Jeffre Dean Moran in his portrayl of Negan. He seems to be having too much fun.

Personally I want him to kill Rick. Darrell can stay...he's cool as is Carol who is the Queen of the Apocalypse.

... that's what I'm doing, but hoping next season they'll tie it all up in a nice little bow and let it fade away.

Maybe they'll have Kar-ul and Rick and momma sitting in a booth at a restaurant in Atlanta eating onion rings with the juke box playing 'Don't Stop Believin' .... so you think this has all been a dream. But then a walker comes through the door and ... fade to black.

It seems like they are preparing to move everything towards Fear The Walking Dead anyways. The whole red machete thing plus they are about to move the Morgan Jones' character over to that cast.

It's difficult to properly explain just how bored I was Sunday evening, but even trying to catch up on the recordings with nothing to do I could not focus on each episode to save my life. it's mind numbing how far the show has gone downhill

They will just keep dragging this thing out until ratings drop enough for them to announce the the series finale (which will suck) for one last ratings bump. Typical. Nothing this bad should last this long.

It’s long since jumped the shark.

But can someone please explain why is it so chic to publically announce you stopped watching? Hell, this post isn’t even that. It’s talking about how they feel after stopping watching it

Just stop watching and get on with your life

I was never planning on announcing it like a douche, but we watched the first 2 episodes this season and then either forgot about it or subconsciously decided to stop watching. We haven't really missed it or had the desire to catch up, so I figure we'll catch up at some point in the next few years if it appears to have gotten better.

Daryl is annoying now.

As bad as the first episode was I skipped all th the commercials (because DVR) and all the pointless conversations. That’s like 60% of the run time but it made it bearable enough to watch.

I watched the first two seasons when they came out, but slowly just quit watching over the course of the next season until I quit all together. It wasn't bad, but just wasn't what I was looking for in a TV show based on the zombie apocalypse, as well as having some issues that I just didn't really care for subjectively. Having said that, I was visiting the in-laws two weekends ago and had been nearly asleep on their couch when they all piled up to watch new episode at 9 on sunday. Decided to watch it(not having a clue what had been going on since season 3) just to see how it had held up over the years and it honestly shocked me how much worse it had become. I honestly chuckled a few times in some scenes meant to evoke the exact opposite.

Anyways, not trying to bash the show for the sake of it, as I love zombie topics in general and it's good to see TV taking a serious approach to portraying a great sci-fi topic, but it just isn't everything it's hyped up to be. I honestly tried to watch the new episode from an outsider's perspective in order to gain as objectively of an opinion as I could, and I couldn't help see how far it has fallen. Cable TV continues to love money, over quality, and it continues to drive otherwise great ideas into the ground for all they are worth. Imagine if HBO had taken the series instead of AMC and had a clear beginning, middle, end for the story they wished to tell?

You picked 2 of the worst episodes of the entire series. It's been fine until now IMO.

I stopped after episode 2 this season, I may or may not return when it's over because it got like DBZ and the episode after episode of build up and the pay offs aren't as good.
