I really hate that Bruce’s backstory isn’t really touched upon by the MCU. The Ang Lee horrible movie did a better job of explaining Bruce’s childhood trauma than the MCU ever did. It’s the whole reason other gamma beings in Marvel don’t end up like Bruce; no childhood trauma (or at least not to that level).

In the comic series this was based on, she didn’t like being Jen Walters and hated when her one night stands who fricked her as She Hulk might see her as Jen in the morning.
It was a whole thing about how some people, like her client, saw super powers as a detriment but she couldn’t see anything but benefits from it.

She-Hulk was always a marginal character at best until John Byrne was given free reign on her title, and he turned it into Heavy Metal style sexpot fantasy.
Wonder of wonders, sales suddenly shot up when Byrne took over.
Feminists didn't read superhero comics. Teenaged boys did. Marvel, once again, forgot it's real audience and let political idiots try to wishcast something into existence that the market will never, ever support.

I might be misremembering, but I could have sworn that what happened in Ang Lee's Hulk was considered canon in the 2008 Marvel/Universal collaboration. They just re-cast all the major actors.

Apparently that was the writer’s original intention, but Edward Norton did some rewrites and the director agreed, turning the MCU movie into a reboot. The connection to the Eric Bana movie was dropped.

Id say the fact she hasnt been hired for anything since confirms your point. If this was a Disney decision to promote an agenda she'd be getting jobs all the time.

I don't think the show was terrible, per se. But it was very forgettable. It felt like the writers had no direction of what they wanted the show to be about other than She Hulk having the ability to break the 4th wall.
The idea that the guy had in the tweet definitely sounds like it would have been more entertaining than what we got overall.

Honestly I mostly have a hard time seeing Ruffalo as a scientist.
That said, Norton has no one to blame but himself. He was apparently a huge pain to work with and not worth the headache.
Bana was okay, if a bit stilted, but I blame that on the writing and direction. I've seen Bana in other things and I know he can be a good actor.

I think that can be said for a good bit of the Marvel shows. She Hulk could have been one of the more fun shows but it was just eh. Sad cause I actually like Tatiana as Jen/She Hulk and getting to see her interact with Deadpool or Johnny would have been fun to see

She and the writers proudly admitted to making the show as a means of mocking the mostly male fanbase as some sort of meta-critique on "toxic masculinity".

It had the unfortunate timing of coming out during the most Woke/BS time in my 45 years on this planet. I’ll be bitch about all of these Disney+ Marvel shows, the same way I will bitch about Star Trek Academy on Paramount+ because myself, and sometimes my son will hate watch the hell out of a series. The only thing I know about the new Spider Man movie is that it broke box office records, I’d be willing to bet that didn’t happen with the same mindset that was going on six years ago.
