I am working on the computer with the TV in the background. Never saw Grown Ups 2 before this but its been on and I've let it roll.

This has to be, objectively, one of the worst "big-time" movies ever made. I mean I don't know the budget, but it has a lot of recognizable actors and I remember it being a big nationwide theatre release.

It has no redeeming qualities, the humor - if you can call it that - is so juvenile and immature that I'm not sure middle schoolers would find it funny. I'm cringing at some of the jokes/gags.

It's like a car wreck and I can't turn away. I am not joking - I am legitimately impressed that Sandler (who presumably still knew what was and wasn't funny) could give so little fricks that he put this together this objective garbage so he could hang with his boys and get a paycheck. Yeah it's a terrible movie but at the end of the day - what matters is friends and family, and Sandler clearly has his priorities right even if it comes at the expense of the viewing public's eyes.

I honestly think Sandler made that movie just to get Alyson Michalka to be drunk in a bikini

He gets a lot of hate with his movies but I’ll never turn down an Adam Sandler flick. Well with the exception of a few. I enjoy both Grown Ups movies.

When he did his Chris Farley tribute I remember him singing a verse that ended with “you should be here with me filming Grown Ups 3!”

Grown Ups 2 is very underrated. And I hate a lot of the “new” Sandler films The Wrong Missy is probably the best Sandler film since Grandmas Boy though.

Didn’t seem like it at the time but 2006 was strong for Sandler with Click, Grandmas Boy, and the Benchwarmers.

Wtf Grown Ups 2 is one of the worst artistic endeavors of all time. I could barely watch it, and I enjoyed the first one.

It’s pretty terrible.

I did laugh during the fight scene when the lazy eye guy says “oh my god, you’re so hot” as he’s getting punched in the face by the sorority girl

I don’t understand how people don’t understand that Sandler doesn’t give a shite and is largely making movies that he can watch with his kids and chill with his friends now a days. Bedtime stories grown ups etc all movies that he can put on with his kids and laugh at and hang out with/get his friends paid at the same time. The dude is regarded as one of the nicest guys in Hollywood also as evidenced by the name drop as such in biff’s question song

I think he made Grown Ups 2 just so that people would rewatch Grown Ups 1 and think it’s really not that bad in comparison to the sequel.

Grown Ups 2 is the worst movie I've ever seen. Don't think it could be that bad if that was the intent. Not even close. That includes The Love Guru.

Grown Ups the original wasn't bad, either.

Sandler is a good guy, but almost all of his movies are excuses to take his friends on vacations and give them a payday. He’s a good actor actually, but I hate almost all of his films unless he’s actually putting some effort into it aside from helping himself and his buddies.

Adam Sandler wrote and was set to release this movie(Grown Ups) in the mid 1990s, with Chris Farley in the Kevin James role. Farley's death in 1997 halted production plans, and the film was shelved for more than a decade.

All of these posts chronicling Sandler’s terrible filmography, and people can put caveats on it and make excuses all they want, his movies have been terrible. But, all these mentions of his terrible movies, and not one mention of Jack and Jill? I imagine pouring bleach into your eyes is a more enjoyable experience than watching that movie.

Both of them are among the worst comedies I've ever seen. I get that he makes movies with his buddies but the jokes and one liners are cringey
