Season 1 was tough for me to get through and I didn't understand the love the show had received. After the Season 1 finale though, I was hooked. To me that's the point where it finally hits its stride and the show just keeps escalating the tension and drama each episode. I think that's what makes BB so good, the pacing is just about perfect to have you on the edge of your seat the whole series through.

Ozymandias is one of the greatest hours of television. I feel sorry for anyone who cannot appreciate that.

Is that supposed to be a low number or something?

Is it? I'm new to binging as I've come across some unexpected free time recently. Usually I do 2 episodes per day. I'm not a binger for TV/movies.

I thought all you streamers just sat there for 8-10 hours on the weekends watching stuff straight. Or is that just the millennials without real jobs and stuff?

But seriously - Skyler. Can't stand her.

Its like all great shows. Its really really good until it isnt. First season is always great and makes you want more and then you get more and it peaks. Then the slow decline starts because the story is dragging and then it ends and you're happy with how it ended but mostly just happy that it ended.

If 3-4 per sitting is low then my binge skills are very weak

Most "good" shows start decent, get awesome in the middle, and go to shite at the end.

Think of BB as a stock. The first episode is the lowest you can ever buy it, and it will only go up all the way to the end.

In my opinion, any episode that spends too much time on walt's family is a shitty episode.

Keep watching. You're just not there yet.

It's a GOAT candidate.

This makes no sense.

You either like a show or don't. Nobody says to themselves, I'm gonna make everyone love Breaking Bad because I don't think The Wire is that good.

There are people who thought Mad Men was too slow, GOT too convulated, Lost a mess and The Wire just okay.

It's all personal opinion man.

But there wasn't some uncoordinated critically reviewed silent unplanned campaign to prop up Breaking Bad because some people thought The Wire was just okay.

It is the one show that was progressively better each season. Stay the course.

Yep. Theres not gonna be a show that everyone likes. It’s hard for some people to comprehend, but a show can still be considered a GOAT even if you didn’t like it

Honestly it’s not great IMO. What kills the show is the unlikeability of all the characters. It’s hard to care about characters who are all such shite people.

At least in show like Sopranos, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, etc... yea they do bad stuff but the characters are likeable.

No one is likeable on BB except Mike

It's one of those rare shows that you can make a case that each season is better than the one before it. IF you think season 1 is "pretty good", just imagine how much exponentially better it will be by the 5th.
