I have to say, I’m shocked RollTide lived up to his word when he said he’d refuse to see Tenet, but apparently he did. I’m sure people thought the same when I permanently renounced Star Wars after the shite show that was The Last Jedi. Save for two episodes of the Mandalorian that my friend that has Disney+ demanded for me to watch while I was chilling at his house (which I actually enjoyed and was clearly the right direction for Star Wars to take), I’ve lived up to that.

Saying you’ll stop watching Star Wars because of The Last Jedi is like not watching any superhero movies because of the 2015 Fantastic Four. You’re letting the worst of something keep you from enjoying the best of it.

Jojo Rabbit - Thanksgiving of 2019. The gap has little to do with covid - I go to movie theaters very rarely, less than once per year.

No, it’d be as if Age of Ultron was even worse than it was, Kevin Fiege and Joss Whedon calling every fan who didn’t like it a racist sexist homophobe, doubling down on everything awful about it, and then me swearing off Marvel. That’s the right equivalency, but instead Fiege listened to the fans and improved.

Honestly, it has been so long since I've been to a theater, I don't even remember what movie it was I went to go see. I'd wager it's been at least ten years ago.

I went to see A Quiet Place II a couple of weeks ago at the big AMC theater near Times Square in NYC. I have been several other times since COVID.
