I was actually wondering last night during the intro why the hell BJ Novak got a credit/billing or whatever it’s called. It starts with Starring Steve Carrell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, BJ Novak. It just doesn’t make any sense to me why they didn’t just stop after Fischer.

He had the MBA and David Wallace was clearly a poor judge of character considering he hired Jan, Ryan, and led Dunder Mifflin to financial ruin.

Pretty sure Novak had a hand in adapting the British show into the American one

He never hired Jan, but he did fire her. You forgot Charles (Idris Elba) who wanted to promote Dwight, disliked Jim, and caused the Michael Scott Paper Company to form which temporarily destroyed the Scranton branch.

Wallace didn't hire Jan. In season 2 or 3 Jan mentions they got a new CFO (Wallace) and that he liked Josh from Stamford and how he was running his branch.
