How bad is Boba Fett? (Don't want to read the big thread due to spoilers)

I know we're 3 episodes in and nobody was thrilled with the pilot. Does it get any better?

Hard to say with it being so early. It's all over the place still. I'm interested to see where they go with the power struggle between the different characters.

I thought the second episode was fun. I wasn't thrilled about the first. Haven't seen the third yet.

I think it's average. Seems messy right now but I could still see a way they could make it good. I'll probably finish this 1st season no matter what. The ~40 min a week isn't that big of a commitment. If season 1 doesn't intrigue me by the end I won't watch the next season.

Anyone who is saying it’s bad isn’t a fan of Star Wars.

It's not following the storylines that guys played out with their action figures in the 1980's, so people are pissed.

It is boring; which is bad for Star Wars. Episode 2 was the only one I enjoyed. I am a huge SW fan so I am watching either way but this is not a “Mandalorian” level quality show.

I'm not really digging it but not hating it enough to not give episode #4 a watch next week.

I really don't see any ties between this Boba Fett and the one from the movies, other than occasional flashback or a reason why he ended up on Tattoonie. Basically, this Bobba Fett could be a completely different character with a different background and the shows really wouldn't have to be changed.

First two episodes were great. The third was subpar.

I'm sort of surprised at the reactions in here. I'm enjoying the show. I'd say the 3rd episode was odd, but I still enjoyed it.

Mandalorian was so good, peoples' expectations were through the roof for an actual Boba Fett series.

Yeah, this one has speaking roles and does more than just stand around being the disposable character he was created to be.

I enjoyed the pilot for what it was, setting up his survival from the Sarlac and takeover of Jabba's criminal empire.

I haven't watched episode 2 or 3 yet, but that's not because of a lack of interest as much as it's because of toddler and busy schedule.

So far, no. Ep 3 was the worst one yet.

Looking forward to Speilberg's Jaws prequel where we see the life story of "Chrissy", the first girl eaten by the shark.

I don't think the show itself is bad, but so far it doesn't feel like he's the legendary bad arse we've always imagined. They're trying to flesh out his character by giving him a code that he sticks to so he isn't always killing everyone, but in the process they've made him...passive is probably the closest word I can think of.

I like what they are doing but it is missing something. Filoni has shown that he is worth the patience. Everyone hated Ahsoka and ended up loving her character. I'll give him time to tell his story. By the way, Ming Na Wen and Jennifer Beals are smoke shows and they are up there in age

I thought that was going to be a result of the events of the flashbacks, which would have made sense until episode 3.

It’s certainly better than the movies but not on par with Mandalorian yet.
