Which was a HUGE risk despite the greens also having Sunfyre at the time who was supposed to defend the city. The blacks wouldn't have sent a single dragon to Rook's Rest had they known the greens would be willing to leave KL undefended and send Vhagar let alone Sunfyre too.

Plus they do not care about what happens to the small folk. Why risk a dragon for a bunch of peasants?
IDK the how much the small folk really matter when you have dragons and they don't BUT you are still fighting a PR battle and its much easier to rule over people that like you than people that resent you.

so does mysaria fill the role of nettles in this series?
I think Rhaena is gonna tame sheepstealer and take the place of Nettles. Not sure how they navigate the whole Kill the bastards thing when Rhaenyra turns.

That was strategic to take Meles off the board. Sunfire wasn’t supposed to be there, he should’ve been available to defend the capitol.

Totally contradicts the "don't show fear" scene 10 minutes earlier.
One was trying wooo the dragon. So yeah fear is a bad thing.
With the other the dragon had already chosen his rider.

Proof that Rhaenyra is just a common ho.

Yea he sounds like a douche constantly correcting people who spell names wrong.
Anytime he does that to you just remind him that he literally has two words spelled wrong in his username.

Are we all in agreement this seasons gonna end at the Gullet and save the dragonseed betrayals/fall of KL for next season?
That's the way it's looking, and I know they've been moving at a slow pace, but there isn't much that happens between the Battle in the Gullet and the Fall of KL (I think those two occur like 2 weeks apart), and it would be weird to have the next season open with the Fall of KL. Honestly, it just makes me think that they are going to drag this shite out and have the Fall of KL be episode 4 of next season with a super slow beginning of the season.

Is there enough juice here for 4 seasons?
With as slow as they've been moving, yes probably.

Right, but that was a specific trap that they set. If the Blacks rolled deep with 3 dragons or something they didn't have to come out of hiding. They were also still supposed to have Sunfyre to defend KL.

This is the shame of it. This is a great show and at first I was happy with the slower pace to set things up but they are going too slow. The books are event after event and the story could have been told in 3 solid, action-packed seasons that still made sure to set things up politically. The pace they chose slowed things down so much that they are having to fill screen time with Hallucinations and unnecessary makeout scenes.
Also I saw on X yesterday that Emma D'Arcy went off script with that makeout scene which makes sense considering how out of left field it was.

This is a wild guess. It is not established in the books. If there is, the blood would have been even more diluted than Ser Steffon.
It’s a couple great grandmothers back, but Alyssa Massey was Targaryen.
We also aren’t told who Corlys’s mother is, so it’s possible Addam’s grandmother could have Targaryen blood.

no. it's specifically mentioned in The World of Ice and Fire that Corwyn Velaryon's grandmother is a targ on her mother's side

Who is Adam and Allyn's mother? Rhaena made a comment that Adams mother must have been beautiful because he was so "comely". Maybe the baby mama was a Targarian bastard? Adam is salt and sea and Allyn is fire and blood.

I'm not sure what your point it. Both the novels and the fictional history Fire&Blood occur in the same universe.

The only problem with that scene is Raeynra complaining about being held back and not respected. Since S1 she’s always ignored her responsibilities at court and with training so yes her being a female does play a part but it’s warranted, she has no tactical training and she thumbed her nose at her fathers request to be cup bearer and learn the inner political workings of council. The show is telling us to be sympathetic to her when it’s shown us we shouldn’t be.

at the beginning of each episode it says inspired by Fire & Blood, not Game of Thrones
So whereas Dany may be immune to fire in Game of Thrones, she is NOT in Fire & Blood universe, no Targaryens are.
They don't have to keep their world the same as Benoiff's dumbass time traveling season 7 and 8 if they are basing it off Fire and Blood.
