I'm worried that it won't be the same without Quinn and I thought last season was really weak. This is the first time I haven't rewatched the previous season before the premiere.

Hopefully, it will surprise me.

Really looking forward to it. The end of last season foreshadowed some pretty fricked up shite.

it wont be the same cause the days of them hunting down foreign terrorists are over. the trailer for this season made it look even more kooky than last season.

Season 1 was amazing, i binged years ago in college. Season 2 was pretty good also. I’m just starting season 3 after about a 3 year hiatus. Worth following thru?

Season 3 isn't as good as the first 2. A lot of people hate it, but I thought it was ok. Season 4 is actually my favorite season. Episodes 8-10 are probably the best stretch of any series I've seen IMO. 5 is ok, 6 is weak, but to answer the question, yes definitely worth watching.

I still need to catch up...4 was the last season I watched. It was a nice rebound from S3.

Spot on.

I loved the first 2 seasons, quit season 3 when Brody was in the jungle, took me 2 years to care enough to finish it.

Season 4 was awesome, season 5 was okay.

Turned off season 6 about halfway into first episode.

Is season 6 even worth watching?

It was decent, but they made a huge mistake with Quinn’s character.

Gonna be tough to recover from killing quinn

And Im guessing it will be heavy handed with anti Trump nonsense.

Weirdly, last season sat on my DVR until last week after I watched the first episode and I realized Quinn had a status change, Carrie was defending Muslims and the woman President was going to save humanity. It was wayyyy too preachy.

Then I binge watched the rest ( watched last episode today ) and think it redeemed itself a bit as the season went on. The Deep State stuff was pretty interesting, the female President has potential, the Dar Adal / Saul storyline is interesting etc. So I will record tonight and hope for the best.

I'd be more enthused to watch if I knew there'd be no more Claire Danes crazy face bit this season.

This has me the most intrigued. They've been building this and teasing it for a few seasons now. I'd imagine that this is going to be the main storyline outside of whatever crazy shite Carrie is doing.

It’s sucked ever since they turned it into another version of 24.

This show is best on foreign soil with Carrie calling in drone strikes. It doesn’t work when the whole show is finding the mole within D.C.

That said, can’t wait for the Carrie chin quiver. O/U when we see it?

The chin quiver is one thing. The full fledged crazy face is enough to cause nightmares.

Yeah this is an interesting storyline . The archetypal evil Conservatives gets old but just when you think it’s too much they flip it . So I give it a thumbs up . It feels topical with the Deep State treachery, the State surveillance, the Culture War going hot etc - and not too simplistic. It kind of won me over again .

Solid premier, and this season looks like it has potential. The second half of last season was good, hopefully it carries onto this one.

I don’t find the female president to be a Trump character either, which is nice.

it is very intriguing to me because it isnt the usual cliches but is instead a classic story of a woman scorned and a mother out for vengeance for her dead son. I like the concept of what could happen if a person with a deep-seated hatred of the institutions of the United States becomes President. All of that overlapped with the Deep State stuff and the Brett O'Keefe/Alex Jones angle

Saul's line "I wont carry the water for a woman who cant rise above her own vindictiveness" was great.
